I’m hoping that Demeco understands that we need a new offensive coordinator next season. Slowik is proving to be a disaster.
While on your foot and you can’t fully release without your hand slamming into his helmet - folks are sometimes too emotional with their takes
yes but there is a new assistant one that started this year https://www.houstontexans.com/team/coaches-roster/zach-yenser
We weren't really trying to win this game, right? I watched none of it, so I don't know how it played out.
I feel like he’s another Jason Garrett, former player turned head coach of his former team. Nice guy but just not head coach material
Does this team even have any believers left. Before Halloween despite looking terrible but still winning I was arguing with some posters that said that the Texans belonged in the "contending teams". I said no you actually have to look like an elite team to be an elite team. Over the course of the season I was proven right. The Texans never looked elite at all this year.
Yall didn't see the tank job? It's pretty obvious the Texans were not trying to win. With that said, I doubt they would if they actually tried but it definitely wouldn't be a spanking like this
Unfortunately, the Texans have not put together a complete game this year on the level of what they were able to do last year. Not once. The coaching is subpar, generally. I think Demeco is an adequate defensive coordinator, but it looks like he is in over his head in terms of assembling a staff, time management and building accountability.
From a Titans fan I feel yalls pain. At least y’all are going to win the division. Is it like the Scola/Aaron Brooks years where we knew we’d make the playoffs as a bottom seed but weren’t going to challenge for a championship? it’s crazy because there were a lot of rumors that we were going after yalls OC for our vacant head coaching job last off season, but now it seems a lot of yall aren’t the biggest fan of him right now.
And the bears were picked to go to the playoffs and Caleb said they wouldn’t need a punter and he wanted an ownership stake
He really is. He's so much fun to watch. Nobody even comes close to the 9.75 TD/INT ratio he has this year either. He's blowing everyone away with his passing skills. He has the highest QBR, and he's got the second highest RTG in NFL history this season. Rodgers had 122.5 and Lamar has 121.6. He's such a gifted quarterback.
I can visualize an 08 Giants-style run if I close my eyes and hope hard enough. But every time I try to put any real energy into that vision, which hinges on top-tier quarterback play, C.J. somehow manages to perform worse than I've ever imagined. It all hinges on CJ raising his play regardless of Bobby or the offensive line because he's had plenty of opportunities to make plays and he's ****ed it up. If he doesn't get better quick we don't have a chance. I'm also holding out hope that Bobby has a secret playoff playbook that he stole from Kyle, he cracked it open for Cleveland in the first round last year then felt so good about himself the pages were stuck together for the baltimore game. Hopefully he's got himself a humidifier
Wow, that was an embarrassment. I have no clue why CJ has regressed, is he still down about the Tank injury? His body language is so negative, and the missed throws are just horrible. I love this team, but it all starts with Demeco and he has to make some changes, I am tired of hearing, "we jsy need to execute better", well these guys are not capable of doing what you're asking so make a change to what they can do. Slowik is dead to me now, last year was a mirage and the team ate the rat poison in the off season. We need to make wholesale changes starting with the coaches on the offensive side of the ball. CJ needs to work on his craft and stop talking on pod casts and traveling and get back to the grind, he is lost at the moment..........this season is over, and I hope the national pundits do a 180 and talk about all off season how bad we suck, we are not contenders, we are pretenders. In a way to early take, I don't want to pay $60 million a year for a performance like we have seen this year from CJ
