He needs to let the DC handle the defense next year and be a HC

    Dayyyuuum. It's like that.
Said this going into week 3. A lot of players were wacked because they didn't have 'the swarm' against this same Ravens team last year. Not going to name those players some were my favorite:
    Cashman, Greenard and Beck.
If they can make those decisions based on those results with those players, then they better do it with the other things too.

Still believe in Meco just saying.

Come on. I’m not even considering firing DeMeco. Pathetic showing today, but I’m firing Slowik first.

I think there will be a learning curve for sure. DeMeco has earned time. Most people had this as a 10 win team with this schedule. They are there. If they make changes with the OLine, OC and add some pieces they should be much better next year.

Too late in the season to do it now. Let the season play out and make changes in the offseason

First test for DeMeco as a head coach. Do you only fire the OL coach, or do you also fire Slowik as well? I think if he comes off too weak here and only fires the OL coach he could be gone the following year as well.

Meco needs to put his friendship to the side and go hire a real offensive mind as his OC

Keeping Slowik is untenable at this point. The damage to his credibility runs too deep, and I sincerely believe he would have a hard time getting any buy-in from the players. It's clear as day that there's a serious rift between the O Line, CJ, the TEs, and the RBs in terms of communication, and Slowik is not capable of tying it all together. Burn the offense down, and rebuild it from scratch.

Considering they didn't pay attention to detail on how to construct a Kubiak offense with agile smart IOL , TEs that can do both catch & block and have a Line coach with familiarity, it shouldn't be so drastic installing a new offense.

Are there any examples of disciples of a particular style that completely went the other direction for offense.

Man that was a weak ass press conference. Houston sports reporters continue to be complete failures lobbing softball questions to Demeco and co. So pathetic he hardly felt any heat with those questions considering how dreadful the team looked. This is why no one outside Houston really takes Houston sports seriously.

No way do I think about firing Demeco BUT he has to make MAJOR changes to the entire Offense stating with Slowik, I would not even be mad if he did it today, but he will wait until the end of the season. This is embarrassing, if I hear, "we just have to execute better" one more time my head will explode, you're asking these guys to do things they CANNOT do, they are not athletic or smart enough. Missing blocks and not knowing what you're doing is not only a coaching problem, but also a discipline issue and there not held accountable. I drank the rat poison, now it's time to regroup and right the ship............if it's the same next year then we are going to have some uncomfortable conversations, right now were a second-tier team who can hang with mediocre teams but out classed to teams like the Ravens and Chiefs. What an embarrassment yesterday was, it was a gut punch like no other game this year
