It's hard to watch Stroud when he's struggling this bad. There's something wrong either mentally or physically or both. There's no way it's just the sophomore jinx. Hopefully he'll be able to regain his rookie form next year.
Stroud had a guy 5 feet in front of him and a shuffle pass would do it and he could have ran for 20 yards and he threw it at his feet, I love Houston sports and will support them always Its just not fun to watch when the same mistakes are happening over and over with no adjustments,. Maybe Ryans is a genius and he is lulling them into thinking they can walk all over us and when we get to the playoffs we open it up. It's obvious Stroud has the yips and our defense is asleep.
Partly the scheme that does that. On that last sack, the RB was supposed to pick up the intentionally "unblocked" guy....he just didn't.

They’ll blame the oline but he’s mentally psyched out anticipating the hit and not making composed decisions bc of it. His mental toughness and composure was supposed be his big traits, but he’s crumbled this season. Sobbing too long for his teammate in the middle of a close statement game will be how I remember him. Didn’t rally the troops. Just spent it sobbing like he lost his lover.
CJ just has to put his head down and truck the defensive linemen whenever they reach him. Texans need to tank and draft a QB so fat that defenders slide off him.
They need to give their postseason pass to another team. Whoever loses out on the wild card deserves our spot. We don’t deserve a postseason game. A$$wipes
