Ime benched Sengun TWICE already barely 10 games in. He specifically called him out for defense. Did I make this up?

 

Sengun is the only one who is consistently feeding Jabari.

But jabati is the only legit stretch big on the team and he has the most reliable 3 pt shot on the team

 

With apologies to the Christmas spirit: I'm pretty sure that when Alpi tries to get Jabari going, it's not charity. It's enlightened self-interest: If our perimeter shooting improves, defenders will have to clear out of the paint, benefiting you know who. And if Jabari keeps shooting at his recent percentage, that's exactly what will happen.

 

Totally agree. When I watch him, I see all my own flaws. The team-first mentality, but also the self-doubt and panic. The way he lets missed shots get in his head, and the way he dumps the ball off because he thinks a teammate can make a higher percentage play. Except, unlike me, he's got the talent. Which makes it all the more exasperating to watch.

If Ime can get Cam to play more like Jabari *and* vice versa, that will be a hell of an accomplishment.

 

I’m all in on Bari and won’t doubt him again. He has some athletic limitations and I’m constantly perplexed how hard it is for him to get off the ground and finish at the rim, but the defense…oh the defense. And the shooting now looks like it’s real. Bari and Tari must be extended next yr.

 

That's actually a very selfish take from you. Can you at least try to be less biased? So Bari was trash and now that he is actually hitting shots, it's because of Sengun that Bari is good? It's not because Bari is working hard and getting more confidence in his abilities, but it's because of Sengun? lol common dude stop being insufferable... everything good happens because of Sengun, everything bad is because of everyone else...

Of course they should be extended but players usually have a down year right after extension.....we have seen that around the league.

Sengun, Amen and Jabari our gonna be our big 3. And Tari if he ever becomes healthy. I think those 3/4 are a pretty solid core for a contending team when they all grow up, just need playmakers and spacers to complement them.
