Even if the Lakers win, as long as the Rockets win then Sunday's game would be for #1 (as of right now). Because if the Lakers beat the Hornets and the Rockets beat the Bobcats and Lakers then the Rockets and lakers would be tied for first but the Rockets would have the tiebreaker vs Los Angeles (2-1 head-to-head). The Rockets would also have the tiebreaker vs the Spurs (same division record and tied head-to-head, but the Rockets would have the better conference record).
i wish i could watch sunday's game but spring break is here and ill be in north carolina or on the road to florida. hopefully landry comes back soon cause they'll need him for the lakers.
This is the worst post I've ever seen on this boar and I've been lurking for at least a couple years before I registered. Even if it is a joke.
The Rockets were number one in the Southwest Division at the very beginning of the season when they started 6-1. But yes, this is the latest that the Rockets have been number one in the division or this high in the conference in YEARS.
Happiest about the #2 spot as I am the 20 game win streak. It has been a long time since we have even sniffed this spot in the conference. And we have a chance for the #1 spot so here's to both accomplishments!!
We really need Landry for the next game. Has half this sight forgotten that we still have to beat the Bobcats to have our epic game against the lakers.
I bet Landry will be back. It's a home game and while we've managed without him the past three games our offense has slowly been grinding to a halt. We need that juice back and the team knows it. It's time to bring our Marvin Williams out from the cellar!
I keep telling myself we aren't on a streak and its just one game. But I'm still sweating during the games. Can't imagine the pressure increasing as we continue. We may not yet be done. Its like sour patch kids, so painful, but you just want more... keep 'em coming.
