    So, is Bregman gone or not? Has he signed with another team, or have the Astros just said they are moving on. I am confused.

    The Astros best lineup as currently constructed has Yordan in LF and Caratini or Yainer as the DH. It seems clear Bregman will sign elsewhere, but you could certainly start one of Bregman or Paredes (probably the latter) at the DH spot.

    I agree there is room on the roster and in the lineup, but the fact that every game Yordan plays in LF is a gamble must be considered.

    They'd have to be willing to play him more than his standard 50-55 games in the OF each season. But a non-Yordan OF is shaping up to be the worst OF in the league and harken back to the Brandon Barnes - LJ Hoes - Brian Bogusevic dark era. Desperate times. They really need to sign Profar or Santander or Teoscar.

    BTW, I'm against Yordan playing a lot in the field, but have you noticed he usually gets hurt running the bases.
