Ever since Green has been out the OL has looked decent. Scruggs has a done a decent job at LG and when Howard plays RT he looks pretty reliable. The issue for the longest time was Green was one of the top 3 worst guards according to his stats for the year. We have Shaq under contract for another year.
Green has been an absolute disaster, so I don't expect him back anywhere, anytime. 1st round busts are part of the game.
Its crazy how different the line has looked with just one player being removed. We dont process just how bad he was and how he forced other players to cover his ass thus weakening the entire line. One person can make or break a line
I have no idea about his pro prospects, but as a college C Jake Majors is really, really good. One starting L/R guard and one C would change this offense. Plus a new OC. And a swing tackle. And WR4 So, there's 3 thi....4 things...5 things that we need (hat tip to monty python)
I watched Trey Smith and saw 2 holding calls on a team that almost never gets flagged. He'd fit right in as a free agent pickup.
It's hard to get up for the Xmas game after Saturday, in reality it means nothing and I just hope 2 things, we dont get blown out and no one gets hurt.........make that 3, Derrick Henry stays under 200 yards
Yeah, the truth is you’re better off losing the game to boost Baltimore’s chances of winning their division and nabbing the 3-seed while setting up a more favorable 1st RD matchup w/ Pittsburgh (who are playing The Chiefs). Would’ve been different if The Texans had beaten the Chiefs Saturday putting themselves in competition for the 3-seed themselves. Should be a “rest players and get well” game on Christmas, especially on only 4 days rest. And that’s before you start considering final record and draft position when you’re almost locked into the 4-seed
IMO Tank won't be ready for camp and will miss a chunk of next year.................that was such a freak accident, how he held on to that ball is beyond me.
