I've got to hit up the tip-jar after this one. :)

There are a bunch of entertainers (including myself) on CF.NET, so if someone here is part of their Christmas party planning I would urge you to consider some of our talent.

I think there are DJ's here, along with bands and a comedian or two, additionally I will commit a percentage of my fee to CF.NET as my gift for being able to post this.

So, members what do you do (seriously)?

Party planners, what do you need?

AB, I think this is blatant self promotion on your part. Using this bbs to drum up business for yourself during the holidays is totally reprehensible.

Oh, if anyone needs a band to play at your company Christmas party, email me though the bbs...

I dont think they would appreciate death metal at a Christmas party.

So....I'm thinking......that's a cool idea; I wonder how much Billy D. costs, but then I thought it would be rude to just come out and ask on a BBS, so I go to his website.

And from there, I find the link to his agency..............and from there, I find the list of their "exclusive" artists. AB....did you realize just how many "blasts from the past" you are associated with? Do they ever throw a party where you can all....like....get together?

I tried IMD's band last year and they were booked for that day. Better hurry if you plan on trying them out.

I'm also looking to book some Christmas parties as well as New Years Eve.

I have a piano show that is similar to the dueling piano concept like Howl at the Moon in San Antonio or Pete's Piano Bar in Austin. Though instead of two pianos, it's one piano and a drummer. We take requests and focus mainly on interacting with the audience which makes it more fun.

Another Brother, it's interesting that you brought this topic up because someone asked me if I knew a comic that would be able to play a private party and you were the only person that I could think of. It was probably too short of notice (this Saturday), but if something like that ever came up in the future, what would be the best way to try and book you? Would it be through your agency or do you take some of your bookings yourself?

I would also be interested in what to give them an idea as far as price, so if you could e-mail me and let me know. My e-mail is thefireants@yahoo.com. I can think of three clubs that may be interested in having a comedy show that are in the Bryan/College Station area and Brenham area if you would be interested.

I dunno if y'all want to book the Dukes of Houston for your Christmas party, unless you have enough booze there, of course. For some reason, people who come to see us planning on having only a couple of drinks wind up having 8-10 instead.

I hope it isn't because we suck!
