ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Raptors 12/22/2024

Just wanted to chime in and say how excellent the transition Christmas bell sound effect was tonight.

 

The positives outweighed the negatives tonight. Rockets’ hands were everywhere on defense, led by Tate. Cam brought the energy. Sengun turned it on in the second half. Green had it going early on, and Brooks played perfectly save for the that one “bonehead” move late in the game which ended up being meaningless.

every one of the blocks tonight- Sengun’s 2 and Jabari’s 3 blocks were incredible.

We have to make a push for Tyus Jones or Schroeder this offseason.

 

I think Amen should have finished the game instead of FVV. Reed probably didn't get another shift because Cam was more productive.

 

Jabari needs more plays ran through him. We need to hire McGrady to work on his handles and confidence. Y'all can say what y'all want about McGrady, but when he and Yao played, I believed we could have won every game.

 

FVV has been pretty bad. We are likely stuck with him the rest of the year so hoping he turns it up at some point.

He's a professional and a leader, I hope he retires a rocket.

 

FVV didn't suddenly forget how to shoot. Despite how it seems (because he's missing) he's not taking any more, or worse, 3's than years past.

Everything else is the same or better, water will find it's level eventually and he'll hit a hot stretch.
