We’ll see. Texas adjusted poorly when Gunner came in. Interested in seeing how he’ll look starting his first game with a full game plan against him.
Beck has been pretty garbage this year, turning the ball over like crazy, but he’s obviously more experienced and moves the ball. I think it’ll be matchup dependent. Against Notre Dame, who has a good defense, pretty sure they go relatively conservative, force shithead Notre dame QB into mistakes, and run the ball, get players in space, that type of thing. I think it’ll be something like 30-13, 27-13 that type of thing. Down the line against Oregon or some others they’ll need to open it up more, but I think they have the athletes to do it with any QB.
Are there more brawls than ever in college football? Here's another one from yesterday. Kinda nasty as a ref got bloodied. https://www.espn.com/college-footba...mars-east-carolina-military-bowl-win-nc-state
I don't know if there's been more overall, but I do know that those 2 schools absolutely hate each other.
Oh gotta love the ole “take the points” philosophy from a college football coach whose team is a 12 point underdog on 4th and 2 in the first quarter, really needed to get that 3-0 lead (that you didn’t get anyway bc you have a **** college kicker that belted it into the lineman).
Agreed but that makes it even more important to not waste possessions. They are gonna get run all over, so if they want to compete they’re gonna have to put up a lot of points.
Okay nice touchdown. Still feels like it was too difficult but I'm for prolonging the suspense as long as possible.
Their FB (former LB) is easily my favorite player in this game so far. It was Ty Warren until that play. Tyler Warren would look reaaaaaaly good on the Texans.
