That’s a good signing for the Yankees. Probably a better $:$ value than Walker.

Eric Heysman of Locked on Astros is going to have mental breakdown. Goldschmidt is his Favorite non Astro player going to a Rival.

If he rebounds somehow, sure. It’s more likely he continues to decline at his age though. At that point, it’s really not much better than a Singleton and Dubon platoon.

Singleton had a better wRC+ last year.

Mariners are running out of 1st base options. He was one of their targets along with Walker and they're too cheap for Alonso.

They also had interest in Goldschmidt as well. What's left? Santana and Bell?

If you don't count the regression, age and actual performance, sure.

After Teoscar Hernandez All Star and Postseason Performance.

Silver Slugger, Home Run Derby Champion, World Series Champion.

Teoscar Hernandez after leaving Seattle, hitters around the League don't trust Seattle Ballpark, Cold Weather.

It is tough for the ball to carry there, frozen ball I believe. Maybe they need to have a Heat Chamber like Coors Field warming up the baseballs.

Pena didn’t have any problem getting the ball to carry in Seattle :)
