Still not hearing Texans tied to placing a claim on Diontae Johnson, but apparently over night The Steelers have been added to the list of Chiefs & Chargers likely to place a claim on Diontae
I guess the counter-thought would be how many Chiefs WR’s have put up elite production after Rashee Rice went down? The answer is probably zero which might explain their interest in yet another wideout
I would trade a 1st/2n in 2025 and a 2026 2nd for Wilson and a 2025 4th. Collins/Wilson and draft a guy like Golden or Bolden later in the draft. Weapons.
I consider a TE to be part of the OL. All good WCO have great TE's. Yes the OL needs to be fixed and they probably will add a vet in FA and draft an OL high. But not necessarily in the 1st rd like many around these parts think they will. Draft a guy like Warren in the 1st and a guy like Savaiinaea in the 2nd plus add a vet in FA and I'll guarantee you the offense will look much better. If Garrett Wilson becomes available I would give up a 1st plus more for him.
It's hard to call plays with a bad OL. 30 in run win rate. 25 in pass win rate. I dont care who's calling plays they aren't going to be successful with an OL that has those numbers. BTW, I dont think Slowik has done a particularly good job this season. But he never stood a chance for success this year.
I can certainly get on board with this. Give me an Ohio St. OG in the 3rd and a Georgia OG in the 4th.
I remember the year in the early 90's that the Oilers (did smarts!) needed to add to the secondary, and they drafted like 5 guys, and 4 of them turned out to be really good. Spam the position.
I don't know enough about college prospects. Can a 3rd or 4th rounder better than what we have? Is there really not much difference between a 1st and 2nd rounder than 3rd or 4th round picks? All I do know is that our offensive line is our biggest weakness. It does us no good to give Stroud and Mixon such a piss poor set of blockers. We are wasting their potential big time.
