And our best player 44% of the time... Sounds like that's far off from being a terrible basketball player 90% of the time.
LOL @ GSW 25% FG% 14 pts @ MIN 33.3% FG% 9 pts @ DET 35.3% FG% 15 pts @ OKC 35.7% FG%12 pts @ OKC 35.7% FG% 14 pts so 15+5 = 20/27 = 75% I would say he's bad as a starting shooting guard around 75% of the games but even the other 25% of the games I'm not ready to crown him as the best player in those games
The Mavs aren't a scrub team and we beat them in Dallas. Please elaborate on the dumb azz notion it's Jalen/Fred's fault Sengun's not making his layups? So Sengun's the only person who isn't responsible for his inefficiency? Lol
Don’t bother with this guy. He’s not here to have a genuine argument. He conveniently ignores everything he can’t refute or spams those posters with insults, or finds the easy targets and answers them with some misleading biased take that he sprinkles with cherry picked stats and when called out on it again, starts resorting to insults. Constantly flashes low character. It’s best to avoid him.
You’ve been so quiet this season and now you start popping up again. Why? What changed? Textbook definition of a fair weather fan lol.
Some players can make about once every 5 bad shots and they believe those are the kind of shots they can make and keep shooting them. I remember Iverson's coach used to tell him to stop shooting 3s. And he said, "But I can make it." Yeah, he could make it, but on very poor efficiency.
The irony of this situation is tantalizing because Poole's shot selection is exactly why his scoring efficiency is higher than all time great 58% ts. That's like a great efficiency season for Kobe. That doesn't mean Poole is a better scorer than Kobe. Its just the irony of people complaining about the end product because NBA analytics found out 3>2. You want back the era of long twos. NBA gms and coaching staff can't do that knowing how inefficient it is.
I'm coming around to keeping Dillon. I never thought it was a dumb signing and he has definitely been a big reason in a culture change on this team. Amen should be starting at one of the guard spots as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I don't see Ime making that move as long as Jalen and FVV are on this team. If FVV and Jalen were shooting better it would be advantageous to move Amen to SF and Dillon to the bench, but as it stands now with their putrid play we have to have Dillons shooting in the game. Amen is better at everything than FVV, Jalen, and Dillon with the exception of outside shooting. He needs to be starting and playing 35+ mins a game to be ready for next year when we have a real chance to be contenders.
Poole got 4/128, where are you getting the 45 million number? Again, i think poole is crap and i would not want him, but his best has been better than jalen’s best.
I think that once people realize certain players care more about hitting the "Trending" on social media and less about winning games, they'll understand their games a lot better. This is one of my concerns with Sengun right now. Jordan Poole will think about this Nuggets game for the rest of his life just like Jalen will always remember that Cade Cunningham dunk even though Cade has been a monumentally better player this season and outside of that dunk (that was actually completely setup by Amen stealing and setting him up), he had a piss poor game.
Sengun has been the consumate professional since he came to this team. His social media presense has absolutely nothing to his slow start offensively this year. The team asked him to bulk up, get better at FT's and 3 pt shooting in the off-season. His defensive improvement and FT shooting have improved greatly in one off-season. He is still to hesitant on his 3 pointer and his missing in the paint is clearly an anomaly based on everything he has done leading up to this year. He is also greatly effected by FVV's stunning regression this year as their 2-man game has suffered and he is getting absolutely swarmed and beat-up in the paint. He will adjust.
To green’s credit, improving on defense is usually not the characteristic of that type of player. I am actually surprised that green’s offense is not improving, particularly the non-shooting elements of offense. I was expecting slow but observable improvements.
The cup OKC game was in Vegas... If you want to do that tho, then you also have to count the home games against the Spurs, Grizzlies, and Pelicans as good games... Then he's our best player in 41% of the games.
Amen is worse at shooting and one other thing than FVV and Jalen... Believe it or not... He's a much worse ball handler... If he wasn't a mediocre ball handler we'd be using him far more as a lead guard or backup PG instead of as a transition driver/half court finisher/cutter on offense.
Never said that, but that happens to be the case in most of his good games... Only game I'd say he wasn't our best player in that he played well is the game @Chicago.
