That was over a year ago. I killed the subscription and had a riot on my hands. Apparently the kids and wife love Disney+ more than I thought so I had to resubscribe.

I signed up for Kroger Boost+ at the $99 level and got Disney+ with commercials 'free' along with free grocery delivery, extra fuel points, etc. We paid for delivery anyway so it was a no-brainer.

Got my new 4k TV yesterday and a Bose sound bar.
Thanks for those who told me it's night and day from regular TV.
    Quite the difference
Now I can see all those gnarly teeth with crystal clarity on Brittish Baking Show.
Now I'm looking for recommendations on movies that are awesome in 4K

Finally cut the cord this summer. The only way I could convince my wife was to get DirecTV streaming. Tried Fubo but didn't like it. YouTubeTV didn't have CBS Sports Network which shows all the Sam Houston games.

We get Prime for free since we already have Amazon Prime. We share Netflix, Disney+, Peacock and Paramount+ accounts with my FIL so we don't pay for those.

All told we're paying about $90/month vs. $250/month with satellite.

how’s the experience with direct tv streaming ? We’ve been long time uverse peeps and have held on tight but that road seems to be ending and ATT is pushing us toward direct tv stream.

I was leaning toward trying only you tube tv. I’ve been running uverse and YouTubetv parallel. I’d like to cancel one since it’s redundant. Uverse is month to month so I can cancel at anytime. I figure I cancel uverse and ride with you tube for a while. If I don’t like youtube I can hop onto direct tv stream

Does DirectTV streaming have all the damn Hallmark channels? If not, which ones do i need to keep the her happy?

    Plus me with all sports.

This is the problem with cordcutting I ran into before.

Yeah, it actually has more options than the satellite version and for much cheaper. Just the sports package should get you all sports channels available. All the conference networks, all the major league networks, all ESPN's, etc. I don't even think it's the most expensive package.
