The super dog thing doesn’t look stupid at all. I did like the brief shot of him saving the girl. The actor playing Superman looks too young, and too gay. They didn’t bulk him up in the gym enough. His Superman outfit has fake padded muscles, and his hair is too flopsy. it’s gonna suck.
superman has a dog? wat. how come they don’t go for a tall muscular lex like in the cartoons? hopefully this is the start of the league of justice with all superheroes present.
On thing I like about this trailer: It looks like it’s not another origin movie and doesn’t assume that the audience doesn’t know who Superman is. It seems like it’s a story in an existing universe that people already know about. Smart move if that’s the case; movies that treat audiences like they’re knowledgable about the thing they’re paying to see end up being better movies.
It's this guy, I learned: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Gardner_(character) https://comicbook.com/dc/news/superman-trailer-explained-dcu-characters-cameos-story-villains/
Trailer was not great to me. Looks like there's too much **** going on. But, I hope the movie is good. I like good movies more than bad movies. Also, a cute super dog is a great idea. They're going to sell a **** ton of super dog toys made by children in China. Easy money.
From the online breakdowns, it looks like they want to introduce half of the expendable Justice League in this movie. That Superman reminds me a lot of that guy who played Firefly but younger looking. Turns out that Guy is playing Guy, a Green lantern
There are some very good things in the trailer. Including a super dog and Lois Lane. Clark looked right to me. As did Lois. It looked visually interesting at points. The original Reeve movie had that vintage comic book look and origin that I think everyone liked. That felt right. This movie only has a touch of it. It looks to bend more toward the alien stuff and I think the Superman only fans are going to like that it caters to them, but the general audience will need to buy in somehow.
