I will say for surely sure, I didn't expect him to be much on defense but for the most part he's passable. I also noticed last night, he doesn't mind mixing it up. He'll pull your jersey, push your hips with the off arm, veteran savvy kind of stuff like that. He's not dirty about it but the reason he's such a pest is because he doesn't mind getting in there like swimwear. And because Udoka is the demanding defensive type, it'll keep him out of the GL even though it probably wouldn't hurt to get some solid playing time and get some shots up. I don't find it much of a complaint to say Reed needs to stop looking for reasons to not shoot the ball though. Unselfish is a great quality. Potentially elite 3 point shooter who shoots 3s as a last resort is borderline concerning. Dude is looking off open shots and I just can't figure out why.

The negativity is weird. It goes beyond just our little group here, way beyond. Sportstalk/shows absolutely thrive on negativity and it's bizarre. The NBA in particular is just sour. I question why some folks choose to follow and be this upset about things. It's weird.

Tari's health concerns me.

 

I'm hoping holding Tari out was more precautionary so he gets a full 8 days off after playing a lot during the NBA Cup games. It's a long season so managing his health is smart

 

I’m pretty sure his mom held him out. She makes the calls.

 

Jalen is good for that one really explosive quarter per game, and I am ok with that.

 

Solid win. I'm just glad to see Cam in action again.

 

I mean, I agree it’s smart to monitor him and be careful with his recovery. Frankly I’ve been a little surprised that he was back so soon and playing so many minutes. But having this pop up now, I will hope for it to be just exactly as you said, but it’s a concern. If getting a full season of Eason requires a minutes restriction of 15m, they better reel it in. Letting him play his way back onto the injured list would be a systemic failure.

 

I hope it's a minor one.
