I think frontoffice/coaches realize they need to increase Amen's minutes to 34 per game and shots to 14 per game but want to take it slowly

front office/coaches not yet ready to admit they made a mistake in extending green or afraid to hurt his ego

I hope you're right, but I see no evidence. The OKC game FVV 40m, Amen 29m. FVV being hobbled the last several games was a perfect excuse, but Nooooooooo.

it looks like FVV & Amen combo is better than Amen & Green combo

Maybe not sure. We hardly ever get to see Amen on the court without FVV. Ime is afraid of the TO's, but Amen cannot work on weaknesses controlling the offense unless he is given the minutes doing so. FVV is dominating our offense which is 27th in the league and FVV is a stop gap player. It makes zero sense.

Agreed, I would also personally like to see more Green w/Thompson.

Amen is very loose with the ball sometimes. He seems to be trying to keep it too close to his body sometimes, and it bounces off of him or his athleticism kind of causes him to drift away from the ball is my observation. He needs to keep it much tighter. Green Was similar entering the league. And the handle from green is much better now if I were them, I would immediately begin building around Thompson as the main ball handler.

Addition by subtraction. Swapping Green for Butler makes THIS team better. Yes, it's a short-term rental but the Rockets have many dudes in the wings; Cam, Amen, Reed, Tari ...I don't think selling off Green hampers the Rockets future.

Butler could draw attention freeing up FVV, Alp, and even Jabari. Butler instantly gives the rest of the starting line-up some pop.

The Rockets are positioned this season to make a run. Win now, without giving up on the core? Maybe unpopular but a no brainer for me ...but only if you can dump Green for good value. I wish we could get a legit 3-point threat but we still have Cam, Jabari, and Reed, that could hit their stride.

Makes sense, Butler going with people his age as Curry or Durant

Riley isn't dumb enough to trade Jimmy for Beal. Phoenix has no way to trade for Jimmy. Even involving a third team one of Booker, Durant (no from Phoenix) or Beal would have to be included (nobody is interested in Beal's contract.)

Forget old ass Butler. De'Aaron Fox just went on Draymond's podcast and said he wants out if Kings don't improve (they aren't improving).

Fox declined King's offered extension, he has 1 year left on his contract. He says he wants to win, instead of staying in Sac.

Perfect fit for us, plays fast in transition, clutch player (won the clutch award), playmaker, plays solid defense.

I can see the Kings trading him next off-season instead of letting him walk for nothing.

Phoenix has painted themselves into a corner. Nobody is trading for Beal without picks attached, and Phoenix has none to give. Their success hinges on Durant, so he’s off limits. Their only play is to get their draft picks back to acquire new talent or trade flexibility via a Booker trade to us. They are stagnant (or fading) without a move, and there’s really only one to make.

Thats not true. Phoenix isn't as strapped as everyone on here thinks. All they need is for Beal to waive his no trade and they can deal him, Grayson Allen, a few others. It is entirely doable.

Fox makes the max he is the reason the Kings suck ass so nah. He is playing with a stud in Sabonis and some decent role players if he cant make the Kings competitive that means he is overrated and overpaid.
