The Rockets Team went far in this Tournament. Learned a lot. Now internally need to improve.

Reed Sheppard, Cam Whitmore need to step up and get those minutes and be added in the Playoff Rotation.

 

If MDA were the coach we would’ve picked up an older James Harden and he would’ve helped the young guys get theirs a lot easier

Last game they combined 8 of 28 FG and 2 of 13 3PM

it's BLATANTLY obvious that they are the main reason we are terrible offensively. get rid of CHUCK bros and we'll be fine next year. not even MDA could save us from this inconsitency. They are literally shooting us into losses.

 

Jalen definitely shot like ass but discounting the forced shots at the end of the game, he shot 1/5. Still horrible, but not a huge game changer.

Fred literally shot 1/11 during the most important moments of the game, and for somebody nicknamed Steady Freddy, that is absolutely not steady at all

Jalen and Fred have taken 370 3 PT shots this year and only made 118.

Dillon and Jabari have taken 254 3 PT shots and made 94.

 

Trae Young is the ticket.

 

James Harden antics off the floor wouldn't have helped the younger players.

Fred VanVleet does so much coaching in the Practice Facility, everyone listens so closely. I really hope Fred VanVleet takes a discount, Reed Sheppard becomes a Starter. Reed Sheppard is really working out with the Assistant Coaches in Drills. Reed Sheppard needs more practices and pickup games.

 

Take away Jabari and Sengun's threes and the starters shot 6/32 from threes. Good shots too. 19%
You couldn't beat a Silas coached team shooting that number from long range.

 

Rockets need to hire Chip England. Fixed Kawhi Leonard shooting Form.

 

it's embarrassing that Amen only played 29 minutes

 

The whole Roster needs to either Fix their Form or need experience in intense situation being pressured defensively while shooting is very difficult.

 

Our guys just consistently bricking in recent games.

Yup facts that elbow sticking out is like middle schoolers shot. Terrible

 

Your starting guards can't go 2 for 19 from three and Dillon Brooks should never shoot 13 threes ever again. Shot selection was bad. The effort and fight was good, but that's not enough to overcome that kind of shooting. They need to come up with any kind of a more sustainable offense than almost half of their shots coming from three when they have proven over and over again that they aren't good at hitting them. Udoka needs to prioritize finding a more efficient offensive system.

Have patience guys, OKC, Warriors went through those difficult times in lottery years, struggle in the playoffs.

Being Top 4 out of 30 Teams in the Cup is unbelievable improvement.

Beating the Warriors was the highlight, now going against another young talented, high seed last year and this year playoff team. OKC has more Playoff experience than the Rockets.

 

MDa sucks just gives the ball to the lead guard which would be FVV.

The MDA offense might look exactly the same as this offense.

 

if starting backcourt wasn't shooting 2/19 from the three then DB won't be forced to shoot 4/13

get a starting backcourt who can actually shoot efficiently
