The Rockets got beat down but all the doomers and gloomers should cool it.

OKC is the best team in the west both on offense and defense. You know what the best means? They beat everyone else, Rockets included.

The fact that the Rox kept the game close despite JG, Sengun and especially FVV ******** the bed is a testament to this team.

SGA is 26 he is in his prime. In contrast JG and Sengun are 22, Jabari and Amen are 21 and Reed Sheppard and Cam who both didnt even play are 20. We are the "lil bro" in the West so a loss is more or less expected.

Despite this the Rox showed a lot of fight and OKC didnt put them away till last 5 mins of the 4rth. Every young team takes their lumps they are gonna be better and better.

Rox obviously have glaring holes but the nice thing about obvious weaknesses and is you can fix them. OTH what about OKC? Both Chet and JDub gonna be up for max extension next year, thats gonna be 3 guys making the max and Hartenstein making 30M and Lou Dort making 16M (basically another max contract combined). Are they gonna be open to trade JDub ala Harden part 2? Maybe Stone should call Presti and check.

I saw a lot of positives this game esp with Amen, Jabari and Tari. Rox are still in a good spot and should have an improved roster by this time next season.

I can't stomach many more of these 2/19 from the arc games from our starting guards. It's gross to watch. Throw it to someone else you hogs. Hell Jabari made 2 of 4.

    That's ime's definition of success.

It's not about winning, it's about playing FVV 40 minutes that matters most.

FVV can undoubtedly handle the ball and limit turnovers. However, when you shoot the way he does, the missed shots, especially at his volume, are essentially turnovers.

I don't know what Cason Wallace issue was with Sengun. Wallace shouldve been thrown out, instigating a push into a fight.

they were volume shooters. They were forced to hit shots because we only took 3s and layups. They were breaking the game with the amount of 3's they were taking. It was more math than skill.

Sengun threw a forearm in his back before all that.

Got really outcoached, OKC ball movement and Harty cutting for Dunks over and over made Sengun tired.

I’ve noticed a lot teams around the league have shooting coaches, the rockets have yet to invest in one. This team just doesn’t value shooting

You have one guy shoot 2/4 on 3 and another 1/11....the guy shooting 1/11 needs to give some of his shots up...hell, even Alpy was 1/2. It's game in and game out too. Maybe 1 out of 5-6 times is his volume an asset. JMO

When I see Jalen, FVV, or Brooks pull up for 17 footers with 17 seconds left in the shot clock, I'm reminded how much I miss the cold efficiency of the Morey era.

You realize that Green has to grow to 6'9 and grow his arms and his body a little?!?

Good portion of the Tmac experience was his 6'9 frame that moved like a guard and his wingspan finishes.
