    5 total field goals.

Was it 2 or 3 of them which came in the last few minutes with the Thunder up double digits with the game over and their defense obviously not trying?

A classic par for the course game from Jalen.

    Embarrassing this is the standard.

    $100,000,000.

Tilman 'worst contract in the league' Fertitta.

I wonder if by year 6 of zero offensive improvement they'll finally realise he's one of the main reasons our offense is disgusting.

The guy has moments in games and then disappears. We saw him last year during that magical month when Sengun was hurt, so we know he can do it.

I’m starting to think Udoka is holding his progress back because he doesn’t know who his go to guys are yet and is still trying to figure it out. Is it Sengun, is it Jalen, is it a system with whoever has the hot hand? Shooters need rhythm in games and they can’t constantly be in and out of games like that.

Man I personally am really looking forward to him becoming good enough to be our numero uno. I really hope it happens soon.

    Fixed it for you.

I left your second paragraph in there so more people see that woefully hilarious comment about Udoka holding him back.

Blame anyone but the clown himself. Hilarious.

When will you clowns acknowledge he just isn't good?

Let me give you a hint - the team's go to guy IS NOT THE GUY WHO IN FOUR YEARS HAS SHOWN ZERO IMPROVEMENT OFFENSIVELY.

Now read the capitalized part again, and again, and again, and again, and again, until common sense starts to sink in.

The only way JG knows how to attack is when it's a transition possession and the defence isnt set. When you have a set defence JG has the below problems:
    1. He doesnt know how to change his tempo of fast and slow to break down/find openings - he only knows to go fast
    2. He can't hold onto the ball when he attacks a set defence leading to turn overs and killing the momentum
    3. He isnt able to shake his man leading to BAD shot attempts or BAD bail out passes leading to turnovers.
This is his 4th year like and he STILL has problems protecting the ball when he's dribbling. This is the most basic principle of being a guard.

Can't tell which had more effort put into it.

Your post (although we all know it was an abysmal response because you have absolutely no rebuttal to make)

Or Jalen in 9 out of every 10 games he plays.

And just before it goes over your head - that wasn't a compliment to Jalen. Lets see if you can figure out why 'buddy'.

Frankly sad that it hasnt really worked consistently with Jalen so far. Part of Jalen's swings of good and poor shooting performances stems from bad habits players pick up from early in their career. Was hoping that Ime helped break that - but i fear its too late. Its year 4. He should not be this inconsistent with his play. Hard to see someone so explosive...still having the game be too fast for him. I dont know if the Rockets give up with him, but imho he may need a change in scenery to grow up.

    Jalen knows he disappeared today.

Im going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's just adjusting to the pressure of the stakes….

But he’s definitely putting himself in the trade list as of now.

    Give him benefit of doubt?

Sorry I don't have any doubt that he is a bust.

He's a dogshit player on an awful contract.... how many picks do you want to give up to dump him?

Whenever I get mad at Jalen’s shooting percentage, I take a look at Fred’s and it boggles my mind how many attempts he gets and how happily Jalen defers to him.

I’d like Jalen to play aggressively, and even if he has 5 turnovers he’s gonna generate a lot more points and FT opportunities. That’s not too much to ask for, right? I’m glad Jalen is a good teammate but I wish he’d just turn on the “FU I’m getting mine” mindset sometimes

It's the system. If you at the game, Jalen can go several trips up the court and not be on the same side as the ball. He's basically standing on the perimeter as a decoy.

For any offense to be effective everybody has to touch the ball.

I think you're confused. It was Reed that the Rockets drafted this year.

Jalen was drafted FOUR YEARS ago.

This is the running gag on this board tbh.....

Jalen Green coddled like he is still a rookie or sophomore because people want to erase his Silas years.

Jalen is a downhill player. From what I saw tonight, he is not strong enough yet. He needs to gain some more muscle in the offseason. He won’t make all star level until he does that. Also he needs to trained by the lethalshooter.
