Lost in the euphoria of the cup, Sengun now shooting 50% from 2s. Took a minute.

    51% from middie.

Thinking he just shoots the three to make coach happy. "We're trying to bring along Alpi into shooting more threes."

This is really nice to see but the overall efficiency is still a huge problem and doesn't really seem like it's getting better. I hope he can figure it out because it's 100% necessary for him to be an effective offensive star, this sub Westbrook level efficiency just isn't cutting it. We've rightfully killed Jalen over the years for his poor offensive efficiency and Sengun's year is worse than Jalens average.

I was expecting more improvement on threes this season. Let's hope it still comes.

Udoka said today that "Alperen did an amazing job on Curry on defense, moving his feet".

He totally clamped him up, defended him better than some of our guards. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing at points. Incredibly impressive for a big man.

I thought the same thing. I haven’t watched any cavs games and they have a great record but I would not pick him first for the cavs.

I see no issues with his form and shot, I think it’s just about building the habit and confidence. There’s a lot of hesitation most times, he clearly still sees it as a last option for him and most times takes a split second to contemplate driving or passing it to someone else. He needs to find a balance - I think 2 - 3 attempts a game is a good number to make sure he doesn’t develop an aversion to shooting 3s but still has opportunities to practice on the court live. This is not a team where any player should refrain from taking good 3s, it’s not like a shot he doesn’t take ends up with a sharpshooter on average.

I wonder what "MVP Tracker" actually tracks.

He laid an egg but I think Udoka's motivation will end one or he other way....

You can't just motivate your players by riling them up every time, that is just borderline bush league tactics.....they need an Offense coordinator like Mazzulla.
