Tucker wasn't even a regular starter... then the rotation that year... a true superteam... Verlander-Cole-Greinke... Baseball Horry in Urquidy
I appreciate what Tucker did for our team and helping our 2022 WS run. However, it was clear he's going to the highest bidder next year, so I'm glad we made the trade. We also saw we could win without him last year when he was out for an extended period. I'm good with this deal, now onto Framber trades!
Gonna suck watching him be a perennial MVP candidate elsewhere, but at least it's in the NL and it was going to happen next year anyway.
If my memory serves me, and it rarely does, didn't that lineup almost never occur due to injuries and Dusty?
I don't know if they can outbid the Mets since that owner has no fiscal sanity. Season tickets $1M/yr? Sure! Why not?
At least we still have the other Luhnow untouchable on the 40-man roster still. Long live Forrest Whitley.
Derek Fisher as a Rocket received more appreciation. 2 pages. Would you rather be a tree or a major leaguer.
Great player and wish him the best but really would’ve liked to see him remain a Stro. It’s been a great run the past few years but I get the feeling we’re heading back to mediocrity.
