Of course it was correct. It was simply out of place because they've mostly swallowed the whistle for the whole game and let those kind of fouls go. And usually refs let things go more towards the end, such as not enforcing the 5 second rule on the subsequent play, rather than call things tighter. And there's no point in gloating about it because the Rockets have been screwed by this many times before. They just happened to be the beneficiary last night.

It's amazing how the one time we benefit from a late game call, which was the correct call, has sparked outrage across NBA media.

There's never been any outrage when we have been screwed over. **** em all!

I don't remember this but just in case I missed something, I went ahead and googled rockets warriors news.

Seems like the only outrage is coming from SF media, SF blogs, and SF twitter. There are some national reports who talk about Kerr flipping off about the call, but I mean every time a Rockets coach blast a call it also gets in the news. Hell even Bleacher Report article relating to the game didn't have a bad call headline which surprised me.

Steve Kerr also said the call was correct.

Watch his post-match interview. They asked him why he didn't use his challenge - he mumbled that they wouldn't have overturned the call anyway, and then says that he was saving it for the last play (the challenge? More likely the timeout). He knew it was a foul. His issue was that he shouldn't lose a game on a loose-ball foul (which is stupid... maybe don't foul?)

Interestingly it shows Brooks should have received a defensive 3 second T with 1:41 to go - 1 shot warriors.
I guess that is evened out by the tech that Kerr should have received earlier in the game for running on the court screaming at the officials.... (should have been 1 shot Rockets)

Now can we get a report on all the early championships they won with the number of illegal screens they should have been called for? I think that will prove they didn't deserve any trophy's

I wish we could see the 48 minute report, if it was truly unbiased, what it would show.

Andrew Bogut: "One thing that was crazy about that run was the **** that I used to get away with screening, man it was all time. I knew if I was in Milwaukee and I set that I'd foul out in the first quarter, but playing in Golden State, when they started to become that underdog team that was building up, I knew once Steph or Klay got hot, the refs would be in the moment as well. I could literally clothesline someone off the next pindown, I know Klay just hit 3 in a row, the crowd's on their feet as he's getting his 4th and I could punch somebody in the face on a screen, knock em out and they wouldn't call it. Klay would get his 4th 3, and even the refs would go "Wow" (and ignore it), it was crazy. Then I get traded to Dallas to set those same screens and I'd get 3 fouls in the first quarter, It was just crazy with the stuff I used to get away with there."

For a coach and team that won so many rings, they have absolutely no class.

In the wake WCF Game 6 2018, Warriors fans and media can shove any perception of ref persecution up their rear end and sit on it for all eternity.

Also the number of jump shots they undercut - which according to the NBA was a "point of officiating emphasis". That plus the moving screens and Draymond/Bogut/Zaza throwing people down on rebounds was transparent NBA favoritism.

NBA knows having a villain / dynasty is important for viewership. We will see who they pick next.

…or the flagrant that should have been called on Draymond for tackling Sengun from behind. It’s not a basketball play on the ball.
