I’m predicting the L2M report to say that Sengun was held on the rebound prior to the loose ball

Yes. Worked out for us in the end, took more time off the clock and we had the better free throw shooter at the line. But that would have been the right call.

I believe the final is the only extra game.

Ie, the final doesn't count towards the 82 regular season games and standings, so an extra game for the players.

Ummm.... Houston and Atlanta are 6th and 7th biggest TV markets in the US.

For comparison San Francisco (GSW) is 10th....

Milwaukee at 38 and OKC at 47 fit the bill. But c'mon!!

I think the Worriers do not encompass solely SF.......

They have made Oakland their home and mostly the whole Bay Area......just as a matter of fact.

Plus Silicone Valley, when they made their move for Durant and promised him shares with tech companies.

It is not just one city at times......when your operation net is wider than that.

I assume you looked something up before replying?

If so, you'd be aware that the #10 market covers all of San Fran, Oakland and San Jose. That is the TV market of the Warriors

The suggestion from the guy that all small market teams made the Vegas weekend is plainly false. Houston and Atlanta are two of the biggest markets in the US.

As for additional market share, sure, but irrelevant to the topic, because that isn't what was being referred to.

Also what does a decent sized potential market with dwindling interests in their Hawks tell us about the current TV situation.... it says nothing about how popular the NBA is right now.

I know for a fact that OKC has a big fanbase of obnoxious and loyal fans that pack their arenas.

I don't follow the Bucks therefore can't know for sure.....

It isn't totally false, they only lumped the Rox together but they probably meant that in their market the Texans and Astros have been the center of attention in the last years.

The interest in the Rockets under Silas was pretty bad .....

The Hawks do not strike me as a team with great TV attendance either but that is the only team I am not sure about.

They should have stated small market teams and teams that had problems with attendance.

This should not be for us to search for journalistic errors. I know what he meant.

Do I look like a pedantic fellow?

Atlanta isn't either but it feels like it because the national media only covers like 2-4 teams from each sport and in Basketball its the Lakers, Celtics, Warriors, and Knicks.

I'd say Milwaukee is more of a medium market too, OKC is a tiny market though.

I think you're missing the argument here.

Sorry, but I can't be bothered explaining it to you, but if/when you finally get it, you'll get it. If not, who cares, enjoy!!

You're right nobody cares, he explained himself in his Tweet below.

He thinks what I thought that the Rockets were disrespected within the league, treated like a minor team for far too long.

    Shouldn't have come that far.

You win the size argument and geographical positi on but that is what she said more or less.

What I love about Udoka is he does what great leaders do - they praise the process - NOT the results. It’s about executing the right way, being accountable to that and you may win some /you may lose some but generally you win more if you play this way. This really is an entirely different culture than the Harden era Rockets and I for one am here for it.

Imagine after that build up and cheering and clapping his teammates replied to Udoka at the end of the video with: yeah but overall he's inefficient at scoring.

Hahahahaha they would boot that guy's ass out of the locker room.

Jaters are stupid, sorry. You can criticize any time, but the ones who can't help themselves when he more than redeemed himself for offensive inefficiency by playing defense, 2nd best rebounder in the starting 5, playing hard, being unselfish, stole the last possession in a 1 point game and swished 2 FT's with 3.5 seconds left... it's just ridiculous how far the ego is willing to go.

He’s made a few big plays at the end of games this season that turned into wins. I don’t want to blow it up into a bigger thing than it is, but there have been a few timely buckets, a few defensive possessions where the team needed him to step up and he did. All the poor efficiency still stands but you gotta give the guy credit for doing what is asked of him and bringing effort game in and game out and at times that effort makes the difference on big possessions.

They're haven't been enough of those plays we all agree about that but sometimes you accept an ugly offensive game from a good player because they came through some other way like going to the line or grabbing rebounds or getting assists. The winning steal and 2 FT's along with very good effort/defense is surely better than that.

Anyway, proud of Green's effort from beginning to end. The paint was packed for everyone, not just Green. He bravely gave it a try attacking the rim and it resulted in some TO's but someone has to step up and test the waters. 3 wasn't falling either. He didn't force anything and the guys he trusted when he passed it to them got it done. It's a more mature Green in my eyes.

So the game doesn’t count toward the team’s season record, but do the players get their individual stats added to their season total?

Udoka never really criticizes a player for poor shooting as long as their shots are from correct reads also. He only criticizes decision-making making and effort, stuff a player can control.

Its a good method. You don't want players afraid of shooting poorly being what ticks of a coach. That just will make them hesitate on their shot instead of using their muscle memory they practice so hard to obtain.
