Yup, that 10 second stretch was great. It's not a qualifier to say he had a terrible game though, that's what matters. FVV sucked yesterday also, but he made a super clutch 3, that doesn't change him having a bad game. It's not just you, i just replied to yours because i like chatting with you haha, its several people.

What difference does any of that make when we are talking about a win - other than to continue to beat the same dead horse over and over and over again? FFS if nobody knew what was going on and only read the comments in this thread they would think we were one of the worst teams in the league. Its reaching pathetic stalker type levels. What do you gain by reminding everyone every single game that he stinks? What does that do for YOU? You one of those that needs to hear others say they were wrong and want to shine your apple on your coat and wink? We just played our very first playoff atmosphere game last night and EVERYONE contributed - hell we only ran an 8 man lineup. Enjoy that for a few days champ.

Im seriously sitting here kind of dumbfounded that a guy would really go "well FVV made that 3" when talking about last nights win and completely gloss over a demonstrably worse performance in order to remind everyone that Jalen Green is inefficient. LOL!

Well then stop using them in your posts and just stick to calling everyone ignorant. Cause every time you mention a stat it just shows your lack of knowledge

Eh, few people are more wrong about Jalen than i was based on what i thought of him in the draft and after his rookie season. It’s a thread about jalen though so idk what you want people to say.

It appears you guys just want to blast off and have no pushback because of stats. SOMETIMES the global approach to the averages and SOMETIMES a play by play discrediting positives along the way. Sort of having your cake and eating it too. No fun in that.

It’s hard to pushback against all the stats though. You can’t be a good offensive player if your efficiency is terrible for example, unless you are a god tier passer/creator. It’s ok to credit the good and acknowledge the bad.

I just find it stupid that folks can't acknowledge that jalen green won us the game. oh he made the free throws but we would have won anyways if we had a better sg is just weirdo goal post moving behavior.

man was inefficient, man had sht turnovers, but when the game is on the line he won it for the squad

If Jalen played a great game and missed a couple of last second game tying/winning FTs, would you say he lost the game and not mention that he played great?

I was very happy with Jalen's effort last night.

We won, and we wouldn't have won if he doesn't dive for the ball, and then makes the free throws.

    Credit where credit is due.

I don't think they even know what NBA efficiency is, Verbal.

    According to Statmuse.com

NBA Shooting Guards in 24/25: average 44.5 (FG%) per game.
NBA Centers in 24/25: average 55.2 (FG%) per game.

They mistake Sengun and compare him to SG stats.

    _________________________________________________________________

Jalen Green in 25 games (24/25) has shot at or over SG avg FG% of 44.5%........6 games
Sengun in 25 games (24/25) has shot at or over Center avg FG% of 55.2%.........6 games

    .....Jalen Green.....................................Sengun
    ......Date : FG%....................................Date : FG%

    10/26: 45.5 (FG%)........................11/04: 73.3 (FG%)
    10/28: 50.0 (FG%)........................11/10: 64.7 (FG%)
    11/17: 66.7 (FG%)........................11/11: 63.2 (FG%)
    11/27: 60.0 (FG%)........................11/17: 60.0 (FG%)
    12/03: 64.3 (FG%)........................11/20: 63.2 (FG%)
    12/08: 45.0 (FG%)........................12/11: 55.6 (FG%)
Every other game.........................Every other game below 55.2%
    below 44.5%

The standard should not be Sengun FG% being compared to those of SG's in the NBA.....it should
be compared to those of Centers.

Both Green and Sengun can be equally inefficient.......but we are winning. Whoa whoo

im sorry, that’s not the bar for a near max player. He had 5 TO’s in the first half and shot the ball terribly. Glad his effort and defense was good, but my god. It feels like we are constantly looking for a silver lining with Jalen. It’s just no where near good enough. But we are locked in until the offseason so we all gotta hope he plays well.

    Continued from post #9035

    Centers FG% 55.2
    Sengun FG% 47.6
    ......................______
    ...................= ( - 7.6 FG% for Centers for season)

    SG FG% 44.5
    JG4 FG% 39.7
    ..............______
    .............= ( - 4.8 FG% for SG's for season)

The average FG% is different by positions
