    Man, lol at myself.

I thought Jabari made those game-winning FTs.

Jalen is inconsistent AF, but he's shown some clutch ability.

Fell asleep and only just now watched the game. What a great, gutty, signature win for this team. Started off strong until the Warriors shooters predictably started killing us and gave them the lead. But we stayed tough and kept fighting and gutted it out at the end. Good for Jalen fighting for that rebound and icily hitting the game winning FTs.

This game may also be the moment that clinches Alpi's all-star appearance this year. Putting on a good show on the big stage.

Great grinder game. What heart this team has. We simply won’t be out worked. We can be out played but never outworked.

The shooting is such a glaring issue holding this team back though. While Jalen was still able to make an impact without shooting well, his turnovers are really hurting us. 5 TOs in the first half from Jalen alone. And Fred has to shoot better making max money. I’m not trying to be a Debbie downer but our backcourt is really holding this team back. We’ve got almost $80 mil tied up in Fred and Jalen and it’s the weakest part of our team. This needs to get fixed this offseason. I can’t take another year of the Fred/Jalen back court. And it’s why Stone shouldn’t be getting an A grade from anyone despite our success. The roster is still fundamentally unbalanced. No one is gonna mistake Udoka for Rick Adleman offensively, but our weakness is mostly roster related.

glad to get the win though. I love our guys’ effort. Just think the shooting is gonna catch up to us eventually and there’s nothing we can do about that this season.

Did not like the way we played for one bit on offense, should never have been this close. Also a ref deciding the game, **** that. That being said, the Warriors and Kerr can suck a dick about the refs. I love his face when he’s sour, it’s really that old man face. I do respect Kerr to stand up for his guys the way he did, it’s up to the refs to call a technical on him and Draymond for that matter. Defense was solid for most of the game to get the win, but giving their guys open threes was just not the way.

Bill Kennedy is one of the few who’s been good lately, especially with reviews. Loved what I saw from Sengun, especially adjusting to the physicality. Loved what I saw from Jabari, he was one of the few who was really ready for it. Brooks had some good moments, FVV was awful for most of the night. Green was particularly frustrating on offense, that 2nd quarter when we were up and he decided to go Harden, I knew it was going to backfire. I hated that sequence, even if he did score once or twice. His passing and overall our passing is still god awful, save Sengun.

We did not play a good team game and need to learn from it. As a person who loved physical 90s basketball, this was definitely one I enjoyed. Just wished we showed a bit more poise, had a more consistent offense and we wouldn’t have just gone small. I thought Jock could’ve provided something to challenge Kuminga and Draymond a bit.

All in all, lots of mixed feelings about this, also regarding the national TV appearance. That whole Inside the NBA crew can also suck a big fat D going with some lazy analysis and Ernie cannot provide the real knowledge cause 3 guys are talking ****. Glad that **** is done next year as part of the regular national TV half-time show. Did love the fact we got Grant Hill instead of Reggie.

Gutsy win, we did just enough to hold on, but that offense better start to show some improvement soon because we’re down to 20th in efficiency and it’s going to be lower if we keep it up. That’s the one thing Barkley was somewhat right about, that we’re relying on talent moreso than aything else.

**** the Warriors and let’s take it to the Thunder, though we need that Jock performance and not slow ass Adams agains their mobile bigs.

I woke up just now and wondered if I dreamed that:

    - Rockets won with defense, game against GSW both under 100
    - Curry missed a 3 in the last seconds
    - Houston favorable foul call to end the game for freebies
    - JG ices the game with 2 made FTs
    - Warriors miss the final shot ftw

    But it happened.

Last night I wore the Secret Santa gift my coworker gave me, long sleeve Rockets shirt, for the first time. Well, that's an every game wear now lol.

I had a fun night browsing r/nba, that entire sub just loves to worship Kerr and the Warriors..

Just every thread you go into they are dismissing the Rockets and blaming the refs for Warriors losing.

Where was all the love and outrage for us when we got completely destroy by the refs in 5vs8 Game7 at home?

Sports social media really is just whichever team has the most fans gets to b**** and cry the most while being "in the right"

No one is giving us credit for the game we played, truly sad. Even Inside the NBA on TNT immediately cuts to Shaq, Kenny and Charles b****ing about how the refs were unfair to the Warriors. I don't remember them doing that for us when we were constantly being screwed by the refs vs the Warriors in the playoffs.

I hope we win this cup and prove all those doubters wrong and give all these idiots something they can't look away from. I noticed it's just anytime you play vs the Warriors or Lakers the worst kind of sports fans (bandwagons) appear everywhere on social media.

And shout out to Bari. Dude came in locked in and ready to play. Was the only shot-maker last night. Has been playing very well since his slow start. Love the focused Bari!

has now brought his 3% to 35% from the absolute basement. He’ll be at 36% by allstar break, and 37% is definitely within reach by the end of the season which, combined with his improved D, would represent good continued growth. I like consistency we are seeing from Bari now.

Wow, just watched the game. Great win but I am not sure Jalen got fouled. Anyway, great win.

I think it was from the left angle, the defenders left arm coming down on him the way it did. It didnt look like that from the other way tho. Jalen pretty much had the ball so it wasn't so much a "scramble" like before and I guess why they didn't call FVV a sec before. I will say I definitely didn't EXPECT that call there lol but if Kerr had challenged it I have no doubt we still would have gotten FTs. No matter what, I'll take it too. Not something we're used to, but this season there's a little breeze of luck here and there for us, and that's one of the ingredients to winning well heh.

Also can we highlight the rotation? It was telling last night. Was basically our starting 5, the terror twins, and Aaron. I’m sure we’ll use Adams against bigger teams but I think last night’s rotation showed the players Ime really trusts. That’s our 8-9 man playoff rotation.

I keep imagining what this team would look like if we could get Booker and Tyus Jones from Phoenix for Fred, Jalen, and picks. Problem is I still don't think they're going to trade Booker. But stranger things have happened, I suppose.
