I cant wait for Yankees fans reactions after Bregs starts out the season hitting below the Mendoza line for the first six weeks of the season. It should be priceless.

 

I think that would be the first time to see a fan base call their own player a cheater

 

Luis Gil would obviously need to be included plus much more. He's a good start, but not even anywhere close to comparable value. They can't afford to give Tucker away. We desperately need a haul in return.

Paredes and Suzuki sounds like a better starting point, but that's still not nearly enough.

 

I’m not convinced we are out on Bregman, if you trade with the cubs and get parades plus Suzuki and change, then Resign Bregman - you improved your team over last year.

I could see running it back with that unit.

or if we still lost Bregman but then also added walker. Still a damn fine team.

 

You do not have to be an Astros starting caliber player to be an MLB caliber starter.

Sign Bregman. Sign Tucker. Both to Soto Deals. And let's play ball. These deals suck ass on both sides. The Yankees could pay, but they are looking to steal Tucker, so no go.

Burnes has never been an ace. He's on the cusp. He has ace stuff. But there is still a flaw holding him back. That said, I would put him on our mound like I would put Framber on the mound. And hope for the result. Gil has potential, I do like, but when a breakout year was staring him in the face, he flinched.

 

Not sure how much Tucker will be contributing in 6 years.

That is part of the concern around the Astros. Tucker does what is asked of him, but he is a different kind of guy and baseball isn't life for him like it is some guys.
