In that case, Crane would have waived Bagwell : Biggio in 95.

I think Tucker should be kept in my opinion. It’s hard to find players like him.

 

Yanks sign Bregman and acquire Bellinger, tying up their payroll and filling out their lineup so they pivot off of Walker.

Astros trade Tuck for Paredes and Suzuki and Smith, then sign Walker and Verdugo. Pressly is traded to clear enough money.

I guess they are trying to soften the blow of the upcoming trade of Tucker and loss of Bregman? At least use Brown, Arrighetti and Yainer in it though. I know they really didn’t use a 28 year old back up catcher and a clip of Whitcomb playing 3B…

This team has not had an impact position player debut since Diaz in 2022. That used to be the strength of the franchise.

Kessinger and Salazar have very little chance.
Leon will likely not get the chance.
Dezenzo and Whitcomb have a chance.

 

There will be after Tucker and possibly Framber are traded.

 

I'd take Suzuki, Parades, and Smith/Shaw for Tucker. Solves a lot of problems for us.

 

This could definitely happen.

 

I don’t mind having him as the backup catcher but he shouldn’t be used in a hype promo video lol

 

I don’t get the Tucker isn’t a post season player argument.
Baseball players are so streaky.
He could just as easily be hot next year during the post season.
Altuve was nails for a while and has sucked lately.
