Well he's on the team ya, but out of the 7 main guys who play, he's the worst one. I think even you have admitted that for the most part, which i do give you props for.

To be fair, i believe end of shot clock stats aren't counting shots when the shot clock is off like end of quarters.

Jalen and fred are tied for 7th in 3pa's with less than 4 secobds left both shooting the same 6/23. No one in the top 10 in these even shoots above 30%.

Its a bad shot and we got 2 guys doing it a lot. Says more about our offensive schemes imo.

Right, but of the 23 3s at the end of shot clock, not 100% of those were bad attempts and some of those likely were end of quarter.

Jalen would have to be heaving up bad 3s at the end of 2-3 quarters per game for the number to come out to a total of 3-4 per game. And he doesn’t come close to doing that.

While the 3-4 was a gross overstatement it doesnt change the validity that Jalen at least once a game has to throw it up. Same with Fred.

That is legit 2 shots a game coming from our slow to produce offensive scheme. Its more a team flaw than a Jalen flaw.

None the less 23 bad shots is 23 bad shots. Thats 1 shot a game is something im sure a lot of the board hates in the moment.

It doesnt fix or help his efficiency but it does hurt it.

Youre delusional. We cant be watching the same games. This is where being stan enters into delusion. Lin stans have a clear rival here. Where you give a player who has shot and played pretty bad except against (depleted teams for the most part) credit for things he shouldnt get credit for. Jalen Green is a main on the Rockets? Really does he know that because he doesnt play like this. Actual statistics say he is a player that gets every chance to be top dawg but he just doesnt have the talent to be that. Or even second or third... but im sure youll find a way to blame that on someone else.

I THINK YOU ARE A HATER TO EVERYONE BUT JALEN. You will blame anyone but Jalen for how Jalen plays. Youre the hater.

Why did you go so off topic?

You just interjected with some nonsensical data that didnt relate to the conversation at hand. Just so you could say Jalen isnt efficient and make some snarky comment.

I'd say he's decisively and obviously worse than Sengun, Dillon, Fred, Amen and Tari. Jabari's trajectory is on the up and up so I'm keen on him, but an argument can made that both are sort of at a equal level or one is above the other right now, although of course Jabari has never been given the attention JG has been, and is trailing him by a year. If they keep developing at the rates they have so far, should easily fall behind Jabari next year.

I just saw that between Jalen and Fred they only have 15 assist to each other.

Fred has only assisted Jalen 9 times which is the least of any starter. Jalen has only assisted Fred 6 times this season.

The assist from Fred to Jalen is more concerning though since Fred is the pg and gets a decent amount of assists overall.

They need to figure that out and be able to get Jalen some easier buckets within the flow of the offense. Cant just park him on the perimeter when Fred is running the show.

Rambling nonsense to justify your sht comment. How can one not be a winning player when he is literally starting on team that's 3rd in the west.

In before goal post is move into he's not playoff material or some nonsense to hate on the player.

Like sure call out his bad passes or his inefficiency and what not but to state a sht opinion like it's a fact is just stupid especially when the win-loss record says other wise.
Team is 3rd in the west but the man playing heavy starting mins is not a winning player, yet they just somehow keep winning.

The guy is actually playing the 2nd most minutes on the team behind only Fred.

You can not say he doesnt contribute to winning. That is just inherently false.

You can say we would hypothetically be better with someone else in his position with those minutes. Thats all fine and dandy and has some validity to it. You just cant say hes not helping the team win. It shows bias.

If you like on/off, on offense the rockets are basically the same when jalen is in or out (smidge better without him) and our defense is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better with him out of the game.

The rockets are +3/100 in his 782 minutes and +14/100 in the 386 minutes he's been off the court.

Of course those stats have a lot of noise/variance/randomness, but it does match what you see with him

7 players have played 200+ minutes for us.

Jalen is 7th in net rating.

Jalen is 6th in total win shares and 6th in win shares per minute ahead of only Reed in both.

Winshares is a cumulative stat so playing more minutes gives you an advantage in that stat.

When people say “he doesn’t contribute to wins” this is what they are talking about.

He contributes the least. Though I’m sure these numbers will get brushed aside by the defense squad.
