Rockets deal for Dillon Brooks (4 yrs/$86 million + incentives)

I love Dillon the basketball player and starting to like Dillon the guy. He served my first crow which was delicious — idk why people enjoy it more. However this is not true to the point I think he is slightly outperforming his contract with his offensive performance minus the fouling this season.

 

I was wrong about this guy, he is worth the money

Memphis was the one in the wrong with how they treated him (and probably also some bad coaching by Jenkins not being able to guide him in the right direction with the way he plays)

Udoka's coaching and his time at the Fiba world cup has been really good for Brooks. I think having Fred a pass first pg has also been good for Brooks.

I will say my worries were overstated.

I don't like being wrong. I do like that seeing that I have changed my opinion since being wrong.

 

Every opinion I had on this signing was wrong. Dillon's been great.

 

Again another situation that turned out well....

Brook Lopez was the Number 1 or Number 2 target and he turned us down thus opening up funds for Dillon .....

 

It's okay, we all saw the playoffs series against the Lakers and were just turned off by him since he ran his mouth and got showed up. Plus, it didn't help that it had been reported previously that he believes he deserves a larger role in the Grizzlies offense.

I think our concerns were legitimate, however, we did get swayed too much by that one series. Defensively he has always been a good player.
