Keon Ellis is a guy that I think fits this and shouldn't be too hard to acquire. I'd have him more as the 3rd guard. All he does is shoot on offense so would need playmaking elsewhere. His defense would fit very well with Brooks, Amen, Tari, and JSJ.
We can't keep all of our current players..... we are going to need to consolidate. I think Fox is actually pretty good and is a step above FVV in terms of actually being the guy. I'm not sure how hard to go after Fox, as at this juncture in the season we are still evaluating the roster. I'd be very surprised if a major move happens at the mid season deadline. I think Fox deserves to be on the list on guys to go after.
I don't think he actually becomes available. His age or younger, I don't think anyone better comes available soon either, though.
I mean i dont think Robert is a bad target or player by any means, it just doesnt feel like the emphasis this team needs. Id rather Smith be the backup small ball center with spacing rather than williams. Adams does ok in his spot minutes. This team severely lacks a backup facilitator and it will be glaring come playoffs. Fred cant play 48minutes a game, even though he may average like 45 lol. Teams are going to blitz Jalen where he struggles a lot. Reed is simply not good enough to get playoff minutes right now. Amen will be ignored on the perimeter and be dared to shoot. Holiday is not the answer. Cam is not the answer. we need another ball handler
I can see LaMelo becoming available, and maybe Trae. The big target is Ant eventually becoming available.
Agreed which is why I think the play is Booker. Swapping BKN picks for PHX just adds up to well. If you swap Green out for Booker you’ve got a championship level team. Greens brickfests and turnovers are what is holding this team back.
That’s a pretty specific player. Seems like you could pretty much count every possible candidate on one hand.
