apparently that guy has just a bit of a false start going there...likes to be the first person to cheer or is attempting to start the wave all by himself.

I'm with Stack on this one. He's like the guy in Major League trying to start a wave by himself.

    Ya know.. I've often wondered...
1,924 years ago, when the first games were held at the newly built coliseum in Rome... how do we know that they didn't do the wave?

(sounds goofy, doesn't it? Gladiators fighting each other and wild animals in a grizzly battle to the death, and the crowd starts a wave)

I saw the wave for the first time on TV at seahawks game in the mid 80's. The anouncer said they got it from the U of Washington. This FAQ mentions U of W a few times as the originator of the wave. http://www.faqfarm.com/Sports/5561

Well obviously you are wrong.

This is one of those deodorant commercials. One guy didn't use Rightguard so the others fall over instead of getting up.

(Thoughts in the head of the guy standing prematurely for MoT's bucket):

"Hey, that's the dude who buys all the weed from me every week!"

I think I can see Yao Ming's parents in that picture. Isnt that them behind the basket about 7 rows up? In that picture it looks like his dad is wearing a green shirt.

That's not Yao's parents. They sit in the East Club mid court. Like 10 rows up above where the scorer's table is. I used to work for the Rockets, and escorted his parents to their seats a couple of time. So that's not them

Already been said, but Yao's parents sit about 10 rows up in section 119. I've sat in that section before and seen Mrs. Ming walking up multiple times.

Yao's parents sit about 11 or 12 rows up. My tickets are in row 10 at half court and they're one section over and about one or two rows back.
