Stanley Tucci. I thought he played a great sort-bad-guy in John Carter. Awesome supporting roles in the Kingsmen movies.
My first thought was more Jordan in a Wizards jersey. He seems like he would be an odd selection even if he had never been Ironman. But, add that the audience is already invested in him as the most important character of the franchise, and that he heroically died in said franchise, makes it an uphill battle. I hope RDJ surprises me though.
would be great if it turns out that chris evans is secretly reprising his human torch role for the same movie but kept it a secret and somehow chris hemsworth also reprising his role from point break in the same movie as well. everyone be reprising past roles except hawkeye
Well, ****. I felt like I was pretty done with the MCU...but if they bring the Chris Evans Captain America back they may just suck me back in...

I'm not optimistic. It was stupid of them to kill Iron Man, kill Black Widow, kill Vision, essentially kill Steve Rogers, make Thor fat, make Professor Hulk, memory-wipe Gamora, make Scarlet Witch a villain and kill her... ...they spent years creating these badass characters and then killed them all off or castrated them. It didn't help that Chadwick Boseman died (they should have immediately signed Donald Glover into that role). So, who's in the Avengers now? They retired Hawkeye and replaced him with a teenage girl (woke!). They have Sam Wilson (no super powers) as black Captain America (woke!). They still have Captain Marvel (woke!). Thor is still around, but they've turned him into a clown. With She-Hulk flopping and Professor Hulk in Endgame, the Hulk has become a lame joke. The GoG, Dr. Strange, Bucky, and Spider-man are still around, I guess. Are they gonna say that Kamala Kahn (Indian, fat, female, teenage, woke!) and Valkyrie (black, female, lesbian, woke!) are Avengers? ..I just don't see a new Avenger's movie as impressing. They've destroyed all the good characters and they've gone woke.
Sorry to say I share your very harsh skepticism. Dr. Doom is the type of character that could nudge things in the right direction, but then they recycled Robert Downey Jr. for the role.
Didn’t realize you were one of those anti-woke snowflakes. Maybe you’re joking. /shrug Nobody dies in comics. And most of the characters that came after Endgame were created far before any sort of woke agenda. The reason they ‘killed off’ these characters is because of ballooning salaries. I can’t blame them from a budgetary standpoint. This whole thing is going to be a soft reboot anyway so they can fold all of the Fox characters in and cast new actors in the roles of the ‘old’ characters. I see the top characters continually getting new actors ala Batman or James Bond. If these next avengers movies weren’t being made by the Russos I would share some of your pessimism but they have an amazing MCU track record.
