I had to google what "ball screen navigation" is, but I take any list that has a Rocket at number one!
One of my favorite things about Sheppard too. When he navigates that screen, the ball handler has to readjust because the ball just got deflected
Hmm, gonna go with Alpi is 95% of the core. Amen and Tari are 2.5% each on nights when Alpi is letting the team eat because he is a good guy...
Without Alpi, no players in this team can not achieve anything. This team goes where Alpi wants to take team. Alpi is the core. @cumutk
I think it's funny that one of the biggest Sengun honks on the board makes this thread title and it's still not good enough for insecure fanbois. He has to be a larger percentage of the core, everyone else is lesser. For some odd reason.
Amen should definitely be first team all defense and get some votes for DPOY. Just keep working on that shot and he’s Kawhi 2.0
I know many posters have lobbied for Tari to get more minutes in the starting lineup, but Amen is the guy I'd like to see starting sooner than later. When he's getting starter minutes, he's putting up big numbers and we get the added benefit of his elite defense. Since late November, he's had four games with 30+ minutes, and he was a beast in those games—15+ points on elite efficiency, 6+ boards and 16 combined STOCKS. I'm sure part of it is Ime's playing the hot hands and rewarding strong play, but it just feels like this team is on a different level when he comes into games.
The combination of Alpi, Amen, Tari and Dillon on the court at the same time has an insane on/off rating...wish we could see it more.
I'm still trying to find highlights of Sengun or Rocketys taunting the Wolves in the last game. Some would make you believe Houston was doing this:
