Assad and his father were brutal authoritarians who used chemical weapons against their own people. Him being toppled is delayed justice. That said I fear things are not going to be good in Syria and expect chaos like we saw in Iraq and libya.

"We live in a world where the best, smartest democracies are stable, the worst, richest dictatorships are stable, and in-between is a valley of violent revolution."

    Too true, IMO.

Humanitarian aid is a fraction of a drop in the bucket compared to the forever-war racket. I thought Trump's big thing was stopping that. Irony being that when Biden actually ended a war all the right wingers lost their ****ing minds.

Russia is so weakened that Syria fell, a brutal dictator was overthrown and Russia lost their port in the Mediterranean because we sent military aide to Ukraine.
What does the dumb ass pro Putin wing of the Republican Party have to say?

You puppets would give Ukraine to Russia and Syria to the remnants of ISIS. Getting your international politics from tweets is moronic.

Yes, that was the point of my post. That might just be why Biden wants US input into the new government. But, you know, Hunter Biden laptop and trans people or something.

Maybe they shouldn't have been so hell-bent on running Assad out of power no matter what if they didn't want insane jihadis running the show. Nothing was learned from Libya.

Afghanistan. Given your post history there’s a 92% chance you b****ed about it. But since you outsource your brain to Twitter feeds, you probably have trouble remembering recent history.
