This team just simply has our number, Kerr just has us figured out, this is the last time I ever bet against the Warriors vs. the Rockets, no Steph, no Draymond, what was I thinking...

The Rockets are the team that cant shoot straight.

    FVV/Green 9-32 from the field and 3-14 from 3.

You cant win like this, I dont care how well you play defense or rebound.

Referees were still in our heads, with some soft calls going the Warriors way, Jalen in particular all felt the need to go up soft and fall down or looking to get bailed out. This was one of the most pathetic offensive games I’ve seen and one of the weirdest rotations as well. Ime has his head up his ass and he’s going again with lack of effort and soft over anything substantial on his part?

Also hearing reporters being scared to ask tough questions is kind of sad. Why is Jock not playing? Why are you putting a line-up out there with Aaron and Reed when we’re already small and getting destroyed by their big wings? Why is Tate not getting minutes? Why does Aaron Holiday not get a shot up until 7 minutes left in the 2nd quarter when he’s your best shooter? Why are guys going 1-on-1 and do you not run more sets and have them move the ball more?

This is on the coaches more so than anything in my opinion and yeah playing soft doesn’t help, but this is EXACTLY why I said after the Kings game we need to talk about our pathetic looking offense and we should be way of this blaming referees mentality. If we keep playing like this, we will be dropping in the standings fast, wondering where it all went wrong and suddenly find ourselves looking for reasons and suggesting crazy trades to get rid of everybody.

We’re a team that’s growing and there’s no hierarchy established, no clear identity on offense and no head coach who’s going to call a time-out and change it up. Freaking Amen felt the need to go 1-on-1 and throw up a wild shot as well as just shoot 5 threes for the fun of it. Guys passing up open shots to dribble into 2-3 defenders has been a problem all year long. There was the charge on Brooks where Amen was right under the basket, but instead he just goes at 3 guys on a wild shot attempt to get a foul call or because he needs to prove he can score?

Our fast breaks again were horribly executed and it has nothing to do with going up soft, but we’re missing lay-ups because the angles are not good, we don’t pass and don’t run the right lanes to get an easy shot. We made it much harder than it had to be. Green not looking at his teammate, but instead just going 1-on-1 against a big and barely hitting the rim on a fadeaway is okay with Ime apparently. He rarely says anything about our offense, execution, but will call out Sengun of course. Jabari insists on fading away against much smaller defenders and barely grazing iron.

All in all, was one of the most mind-numbing and offensive disgraces I’ve seen yet. barely below one earlier this year that I cannot recall against which opponent.

I have no problem with this loss. We were playing a very good team (VERY well coached) on the road.
These are the kind of games that are gold for your youngsters. Games that realy help them to grow.

The L doesn't hurt as much as the points production: 93 (ninety-three)

    Enough said.

I don't see much changing without some roster moves. When you look at season averages both our starting SG and PG are well below league average in TS%, FG%, and 3 PT% and are two of our biggest shot takers. The sad part is that almost everyone in the league who gets the type minutes they do are better shooters at those positions.

Let's be honest, you aren't going to win many games with your starting backcourt shooting less than 40% from the field and less than 33% from 3pt. That is terribly inefficient.

Between Jalen and Fred they are shooting 30 shots a game and 15 of them are 3pt shots. That's about one third of the teams shots and over a third of the teams 3pt shots.

The only saving grace is the teams defense keeping them in the game.

The defense is definitely what's keeping us in the games. We aren't going to beat many teams who have decent defense and really good shooters in playoffs. How many Championship teams have had below average shooters in FG% and 3 PT% from their starting guards, and two of the top 3 shot takers? Can you think of any?

Offense isn’t right. On defensive end Rockets had problems defending those down screens and couldn’t stop the Kuminga/Wiggins dribble drive coming off simple screen on the wing. They ran this same play multiple times with Rockets not hedging or blitzing.

Sengun’s efficiency is utter garbage too…he’s a big man with a TS of 53.4%

everyone in the starting lineup has horrific efficiency

Sad when all 3 of the biggest shot takers on the team are below average shooters.

we've been losing to the Warriors for over a decade now. there are literally 17 year old warriors fans that have no visual memory of their team ever losing to the Rockets.
