How often is the #draft pick the NCAA Player fo the year. I remember Laetner won it but Shaq was #1. Why? Was it that shaq had more upside? fit the Magic's need more? or Laetner was simply overrated. Wasn't Laettner a Senior and Shaq just a sophomore? Plus, Laettner dominated more college games than did Shaq, I'd say. Remember how Laettner schooled Alonzo, too.
