Sounds like someone who has seen sides of evil we can only read about, so she has life experience. And she thinks a crazy white American is the most dangerous. As a parent who worries about mass shootings in schools, which inarguably are committed by people with serious mental issues, the majority of whom are white, I'm inclined to agree with her. It's the perfect example to back this woman's claims. Entitlement + insanity = disaster.
they sure do pull out all the stops when somebody mega rich gets killed I’m almost surprised they haven’t closed all the bridges and locked down the city…nobody in or out regardless of how bad health insurance is, I just can’t applaud murder like this…all the comments I see online mocking and celebrating his death making the killer out to be some legend just make me very uncomfortable
Hearing y'all talk about entitlement and insanity is relatable to my circumstance. My son went to study at a private Boston college, and so far he has been consumed with trump, Elon, **** socialism etc.. A whole new personality change. We can never talk about politics since it will get out of hand. I'm hoping I can reel my son back
In Taxachusetts?? DEAR LORD NOWHERE IS SAFE I had a dream last night that Trump was murdered (bombing) and I remember feeling genuinely sad and in disbelief, in the dream. I even remember thinking about JD Vance being next in line. Honestly first time I think I’ve ever had a dream about politicians, it probably was influenced by reading this thread before sleep lol.
I cannot comment about NYC - I am not there. What I can say is that I can count on one hand the number of people that have expressed or shown any concern for the CEO or a desire to find the assassin. In fact I know of only person other than some tweets from this thread. The condemnation of the CEO and his company has been almost universal and I did not expect that - I expected more of a measured response, but it really seems like most people believe the CEO at a minimum had it coming, if not supporting the shooter. Not so sure that assassinations would not bring about change - I think it would actually, but the cost would be high. As long as people are not overly inconvenienced, I don't think they would really care too much honestly. You can criticize the response for sure - but at some point people begin to take things into their own hands. I have said before that many of those in positions of power in the USA have ZERO fear and a little bit of fear that the people will turn against you is healthy.
Honestly the only way the MAGA cult will learn is if they feel the direct effects of Trump's terrible policies. Whether that be mass inflation and/or recession causing tremendous financial pain to Americans like during the 2008 recession- only this time Trump and Elon will crash the economy purposely. This one is tricky because he's your son and if he finds himself in tough times, you'll want to help him. Either way, **** around time is over. Now its time to find out.
People always celebrate bad stuff like those. Remember when people celebrated Trump almost being assassinated? This is nothing new, welcome to social media and the internet. The real issue here is, once people get over that virtue signaling about "don't celebrate murder" (yeah no ****), is that there is a serious problem in the Healthcare insurance industry and yet an even bigger problem with class divide based on wealth.
Like I mentioned before if she’s not immune to this happening to her Somebody might be a close friend of whomever she wants dead and that person might be deranged too and she might see a bullet as well
Honestly to your first post I don’t see too much disheartening in this thread that I’d call scum. People trying to explain/justify/rationalize things is fundamentally what people do when getting news - in general. You maybe are conflating every point of people trying to rationalize what happened with specifically rationalizing the ethicality of the murder? You specify it as “the usual lefty suspects” could you specify the actual poster(s) and point(s) you take problem with. The vague slander seems a bit lazy.
