Its not a suspension he is on concussion protocol. The officiating this game needs to be investigated we got multiple hurt players and either no foul or no flagrant calls were made.
Did that fan on here that wanted to meet up & beat up @Os Trigonum give Tari a concussion? Or was it the fan he sought out after the game?
Guess we might get lucky, let’s see if others can step up. With no Tari I want to see Tate and definitely give me some Jock over Adams please.
I've noticed a little more mobility out of him. Hope he continues to improve as he was a good starter.
Deuce showed how the Kings ran 9 straight plays to beat the Rockets but he forgot to mention the Refs!!
I've said this all along and I was ridiculed for it. Sengun=Sabonis and not Jokic. They are the exact same players
Senguatics (and maybe some non-Senguatics) are gonna kill me! And for whatever reason, take offense to the comparison. Now you can argue whether Sabonis is a little better than Sengun or Sengun is a little better than Sabonis, whatever…but we also don’t even have a De’Aaron Fox to our Sabonis. (He has been brought up recently if he doesn’t extend after the season). And let’s be honest, none of you think the Kings are contenders or take them seriously. Current: https://stathead.com/tiny/wMCdL 4th year vs 4th year: https://stathead.com/tiny/8Er6V You know who didn’t build around Sabonis? The Magic. (Traded draft night for Ibaka) You know who didn’t build around Sabonis? The Thunder. (Traded for PG) You know who didn’t build around Sabonis? The Pacers. (Traded for Haliburton) Sabonis is a fine player. 9(th) years, 3x all-star, 2x all-NBA 3rd team. Superstar? Franchise player? Build around? Hardly. If that makes me a hater, so be it!
Yeah I don’t think that is saying much honestly. He sets a good screen sure, but besides that, it’s very minimal.
On an age basis using an unbiased metric, it seems Sengun is about halfway between Jokic and Sabonis. Comparing Sengun solely to Sabonis is probably similar to comparing Sengun solely to Jokic. I mean, sure Sabonis in his prime is maybe close to as good as 22-year old Sengun, but it looks like Sengun is still improving. Also, the data you provided shows a 4th year versus 4th year shows Sengun having a 7.6 to 3.2 bpm advantage over Sabonis and a 7.6 to 5.5 advantage currently (i.e., Sabonis is a little better offensively in the stats you cited, but is absolutely destroyed on the defensive side of the ball even though I think more is made of Sengun's defensive improvements than I think has happened). Sabonis plays a lot more minutes so he does come up closer this season in a total value basis instead of a per minute basis. Sengun was much closer in BPM to Jokic in their 4th seasons than he is to Sabonis. On Fox being better than any Rocket, I think it is pretty clear that the Rockets have been about as good as the Kings over the last 82 games, and a lot better in the last 50 as the Rockets young guys are getting better. I think it is pretty clear that the Rockets around Sengun are much better than the Kings around Sabonis currently. The biggest problem with Sabonis is that he was good enough to make his teams' picks not very good, and not good enough to carry a team. The Rockets did not become roster locked when they added Sengun, are probably a lot better than the Kings currently, and are trying to add a guy to build with Sengun around. Basketball is a team game. The Rockets either this season or next will have more wins than any Kings team in the last 2 decades and any Sabonis team ever. After that, it kind of depends on Stone not messing things up. I don't think Sengun will be good enough to carry a team by himself. I think assuming Sengun will become Jokic is out there, but I would love it if it happens. I do think treating Sengun like Sabonis makes a person a hater when Sengun is a lot better than Sabonis at a similar age and I think the preponderance of evidence gives Sengun an edge currently.
One can only hope the Rockets coaches are taking notes on how to run offensive plays. The key is assigning a screener, rather than hopelessly asking players to spot up on the 3-point line when they can't make these shots. I see no reason that Brooks couldn't take this screener role or even Jabari. It gets players easier looks against better matchups and gets people to their spots without unnecessary dribbling.
