I never said Chris was prior to it against Minny and the Jazz I suppose...but in that series he was pretty good.

Nothing crazy, Gasol was better in some Playoffs series as the 2nd option as well.

If Harden were on the Rockets rather than being young team on the rise they'd be title favorites - it is obvious.

You are way too optimistic. I love James and definitely agree he would do great for our young players, but no way we would be title favorites. At the end of the day, he still has to show up and play in CRITICAL playoff games.

 

Old James would've shot them out with the stepbacks. New James is being aggressive and driving.

He is sort of an enigma himself, where as you said is gassed by Round 2 and Round 3s.

And then they put him on super teams, and his ego is playing tricks. Something always happens.

 

The young team would be carrying him as well.

I would still not bet against the Celtics because they have superior spacing and shooting in a Game 6 and Game 7 settings.

They have Tari and Amen light on Defense but much better Offensive players in Brown and Tatum.

And every white guy on their bench turns into some sort of a Kyle Korver/Tyler Herro.
