I'm not upset by this loss, it was a crazy weird game.

For some reason Sacramento couldn't miss even if they were taking heat check 3s with a guy's hand right in their face. Kings ended the game shooting 50% from 3 lol wtf.

And then as everybody noted the refs were clearly on the Kings side. I dunno if its because the odds were in Rockets favor or they were intimidated by the home crowd or they were secretly Kings homers or what, that clearly wasn't fair officiating. Sengun would get called for ticky tack moving screens but then he'd get clobbered by Sabonis no call. He was also straight up slapped in the face and that was reviewed...and assessed a non flagrant lol wtf. Whatever happened to contact above the shoulder is flagrant? Jalen had his 3 rescinded, and everytime he got hacked while driving inside there's no call. Basically they allowed Kings to play physical but Sengun would get called for a moving screen to the letter of the law.

All things considered, its actually a good sign they only lost by that much with Kings shooting out of their mind and it being 5 vs 8 on the court.

If there's one thing I don't like though, it's Tari Eason losing his scoring touch. Dude went from baby Kawhi to baby Michael Kidd Gilchrist. He is still really good defensively but his scoring has been atrocious. Also missed so many putbacks.

Tari Eason should add variety to his game, even I can guess what he will do on TV, he takes the ball and runs to the basket, he does not use his physique offence at all.

It sure would be nice if we had a few shooters (though Jalen was on fire last night). I'm going to keep dreaming that Devon Booker demands a trade. I'd accept DeAaron Fox too.

    Lost the game due to:
    1. 47% 3P shooting by the Kings (52% overall)
    2. 2/15 3P shooting by Eason and VV, plus 42 blown layups.
The refs sucked, but they weren’t the primary reason the Rockets lost. (If the Kings had lost this game, they could’ve complained about the refs too... because the refs were just bad in this one.)

Might've missed it during the broadcast, but... did anyone on the Rockets push for a flagrant review?

If CP3 were on this team, he would've made sure the refs reviewed that one.

I don't agree. They definitely let the Kings play way more physical than the Rockets who were called for every ticky tack foul. Every 50/50, 40/60, 30/70 call went there way too. I do agree that's not what ultimately lost them the game. They missed too many wide open shots and couldn't stop the Kings offense for a long stretch.

We give Cam a hard time for never letting go of the ball but I've yet to see Eason make a pass when he is leading a 3 on 1 fast break. Passing is supposed to be fun. The FPD should investigate this case. Question Momster.

You're not the only who says this, so don't take this personally. :)

at this rate, he'll have more fastbreaks assists this year than all of Cam's assists in his career, to date.

Jalen Green getting his eyes clawed at going for a dunk = Common foul no review

    Dillion Brooks existing = foul

Sengun getting shoved in the back by Sabonis on a layup = no call

Sabonis holding Jabari down fighting for rebound = foul on Jabari

if Kings lost kings fans cant complain sonce the refs were blatantly on their side.

Jalen Green having eye problems cuz he got clawed in the eye but thats just a normal foul.

he gets tunnel vision on breaks and he leads so many that turn into 0 points - players really don’t even run back with him cause they know he doesn’t pass

That’s part of the problem, Tari shouldn’t be leading breaks but we don’t have great open floor playmakers and ball handlers who have vision on this team and can make the right play…at least not yet.

Every loss leaves a different sour taste. I gotta say this one and the Bucks game were pretty bad, the losses early on against Hornets and Spurs were pretty bad too.

But thankfully to counter, we have had some great wins too. Heres to more of those wins.

For a team that wants to run so bad they are kinda average at it.

Eason is in this spot a lot because he comes away with steals so often. And whatever it was this season seems to have figured out the layup, smoking a whole pack in one night last night.

I’d still like to see a dunk more than a layup. If he doesn’t have that runway it’s a good sign to stop. Really the thing that gets me is how often it seems like he should pull up and charges into a couple ready defenders anyway. I don’t feel like he’s converted a lot of those.

no he wasn’t, typical Bari performance. No shot. No rebs. Brings nothing for 30 min.

One decent game, 7 rough games in a row. That’s Bari for you.
