just watched the game. why didn't crowder's foul on jalen in the late 3rd get reviewed for a flagrant? aren't all blows to head automatically reviewed? the kings broadcast even were saying how it was clearly intentional and about "sending a message".... frustrating game but it happens. nothing, and i mean NOTHING, went the Rockets way after the first half altercation. Oh well. Kings can enjoy fighting for a play-in spot...
As much as last night burned me up... Theres something about them hitting 15 shots in a row and us only losing by 3 possessions. It took a lot of mistakes too (turnovers, poor paint defense), but heck we made the same amount of threes and heavily outrebounded. I don't want to bring the Refs back up, but its hard not to in this one. It legit seemed like we weren't being allowed to play the same game the Kings were playing. Did they have a ton of momentum coming out of the 2nd Q? Sure. I kept hearing that we weren't being as physical though, and I call crap. Anytime we tried, whistle. Now, fouls and FTs weren't all that different, but there were a ton of questionable calls (and challenges) that went against us, and for this to have at all ended up in single digits is surprising. Don't get me wrong, I know the game was out of reach with more than 2min left, but most of it this was still very winnable. It started out looking like a good night. Too bad.
this is crazy to me. no play on the ball, head to the face, jalen needs to get treatment... and no review? that's when i knew we would lose. and the cherry ontop was the kings announcers....
Ime needs to worry about making adjustments after the 10th straight bucket, rather than going with his normal rotation after 15 straight. The assistants can run practice, he needs to watch film or coaches that don’t suck in game.

How were they supposed to punch back when the refs negated the ability to play a physical brand. Zebras came out after the Dillon scuffle and had an agenda. Amen couldn't do what he does. Derozan to the line on no contact. No more scuffles for Dillon. 0-2. Portland game where he woke up Simmons. Not counting the OKC scuffle, that was WWF

The betting line suspiciously changed before the game to heavily entice betters to put money on the Rockets. Vegas made a call and it was obvious. I knew what was happening during the game while it was happening. This loss was penciled in from the beginning.
WTF kind of 1930's platitude of the day bs are you on? The Rockets are constantly praised as physical and it's a key driver of their defense. You don't have a top 2 defense as a bunch of matadors out there. FOH with this. The Refs controlled the degree of physicality last night and that's what the last 10 pages of this thread have been about.
