Shoulder dislocation to Luc Mhab a Moute followed by CP3 hamstring giving out derailed this team from winning it all. Plus refs rigged it. CP3 and VanVleet might be too old (both look broken down intermittently) I mentioned Rockets playing "Drop Coverage" with Sengun defensively.....since I have noticed Ime allowing Sengun to defend more on the perimeter. Practice video had team scheming Sengun on perimeter and Dillon moving over to position near rim backing up Sengun. Heard last week that Rockets have had 9th easiest schedule so far. My analysis is many teams have had injuries or poor starts and are contemplating tanking for Flagg.. I'm all for going all in now or at deadline. 3-point shooters and/or additional Small Ball center (PF by name). Jerami Grant, Cam Johnson, D Fox, Naz Reid are my preferred targets at the moment.
Really? Because the team with the number 1 defense hasn’t won the championship in a while now. Last year it was the Wolves. And it was the Cavs the season before that. But guess who the number 1 offensive team was last season?
I must say you're about the most likable ass on the forum. I would like to remind you that if Reed Sheppard ever scores 10 points, this forum is going to go in on you like a pit bull on a pork chop. I, too, will enjoy doing so - no offense, of course.
I have just realized every time you open your fat mouth you curse Sheppard with another bad performance. But I guess Sheppard scored 4 pts tonight thats why you are creaming with joy. STFU clown.
2018 warriors aside everyone else is better now. Jokic would smoke half the teams back then by himself.
That 18team would beat so many other champions. We just ran into one of the most OP teams in history in GS
this has got to be a troll thread, right? 2018 would've been the best Rockets team ever had we not had an unfortunate hamstring injury. Here's hoping our current young Rockets can surpass them one day, though!
i love tari eason and amen.. but i cant see them messing with or containing 2018 harden.. sengun in particular would be played off the court by harden, and cp3 and then the rest would fall into place.. although i prefer ime udoka to make better adjustments over dantoni fvv, jalen green.. guarding cp3 and harden that year.. i cant see it
No, that team had an MVP player and this team is missing that. Maybe one of our guys can develop into that but this team needs some playoff seasoning (which hopefully they get this year) and a few tweaks before it can be a true contender. Right now the goal is just get into the playoffs. If we can get homecourt first round that would be great to hopefully get into the 2nd round...and based on that we can see who of our core are keepers and who to really build around.
Yes, but it is probably the best a team without a clear hierarchy could accomplish in the first 20 games...... The team led by Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry did not do that.....
Our defense was incredible in 2018 you casual. We looked like last years Celtics. 3 and D with two of the best iso scorers in the history of the league that year.
No it is not, that team outscored everyone. This one out defends everyone, but in the playoffs you have to be able to score. DD
