Everyone else @AroundTheWorld mentioned was welcomed warmly by an overwhelming majority of their team's fanbase yet Sengun still has detractors here. We do not even know if the owner of this site is on the bandwagon yet.

That's way too low. Also, Amen and Tari should be ranked higher than Jalen.

The model is trained on past voting, and there are two big things that Jokic is severely lacking that have historically been very important for winning. #1 is team record, this has been really really important at determining who wins MVP. It's nearly impossible to win if you are not on a top 3 seed. It's actually the only reason Alperen is on there at all tbh. For better or for worse, that's how the award is decided, it's one of the most important factors. The other one is games played, voters are more likely to vote for guys who haven't missed many games.

In other words, if Jokic had played in every game this year and the Nuggets were the #2 or #1 seed, I think he would be over 90% or possibly over 95%, if all his other stats remained exactly the same.

it’s ‘you didn’t respect my opinion and mocked me as crazy sof’ rather than ‘I told you so’. And even if it is the latter, it is much better than jof spamming all threads with no real performance to back themselves. I am still hoping that it will be their turn for the ‘I told you so’

I would like to watch Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson play in the Modern Era.

@aelliott was complaining in the Giannis thread that I quoted defensive rating, a team stat, to make a point about Alpi having become a good defender.

    Fine.

    Let's use D-LEBRON - not a team stat.

Currently ranked 5th in the league, behind Draymond, Gobert, Wemby, and our own Amen Thompson - ahead of Brook Lopez and Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.

Way to low. Should be top 3. Only Wembi and Ant have a case of being higher.
Green is also to high. Ameb should be higher.

Sengun has to win us a chip or he'll forever live in the shadows of Scola.

    Scola is a mediocre player..
What kind of basketball knowledge do you have?
Sengun is right now top.15 player, with respect to Scola..
Sengun is a borderline superstar, at 22 years old broke almost all records.
Scola started to play at 27 years old in NBA, Scola is 6'9 with shoes, Alpi is 7',0 with shoes.
Sengun is this teams 1A player,star..
    Scola was a role player..
