The “give me Harden over FVV” takes are embarrassing

Lol that is why you are massively underrating SGA and you do not watch them, point blank......

Jalen Green is a mix of KPJ's brain and probably DeAaron Fox talent.

But neither SGA or Jalen Green would be considered super talented in the Iverson and Kobe era for example.

Those old school heads are just better......just like I would take the Dream, Duncan and Shaq over Jokic and Dirk.

I like shooting but a big guy has to block shots and alter a lot of shots for me.

Duncan I take because he can slide to the PF position and be versatile for me.

And Alpe right now has probably a better defensive rating than Joker (very small sample size)

Kevin Durant 14 years younger and Steph Curry are the only ones I would pick from the past era to play in a fantasy game against Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kobe, Iverson and Shaq. Plus Hakeem and Duncan.

I leave Lebron out because he is too easy of a choice.

You really overestimate what weed does.....it is not a hard drug......you can also use it sparingly.

This new NBA is full of 3 point shooters and fake beefs, everyone is friendly and parties with one another during the offseason.

    Stat stuffers.

The only beating going on is beating women at home like KPJ or Miles Bridges.

That is why the Rockets and Thunder give us so much Old School Defense.......something the Nuggets cannot do due to personnel. Blast from a good Past.

Huge James Harden fan here. Even though I think he would have excelled with this Houston Rocket core, I think it was time for the Rockets to move on and form a new core. Harden commenting he was his own system scared the Rockets from the anticipated reunification with Houston.

FVV and Dillon weren’t my favorite signing at the time, but they’ve brought an attitude sorely lacking, they bring grit and dog mentality, influencing the entire youth core of Rockets.

Green used to be a weak defender, now he absolutely goes all out in his defensive assignments. Alpi was even further away on defense, but now he is an elite NBA defensive presence.

Jabari, Eason, and Amen are amazing defensive players from day one of their NBA careers.

As of now Whitmore and Reed are floundering. Though both are very talented, but they are not calibrated with the elite core.

    Alpi
    Smith
    Dillon
    Green
    FVV

    Eason
    Thompson

All 7 of those guys could probably start for 75%-95% of the teams in the league.

Ime, FVV and Dillon changed the culture.

Also, Fred helped to unlock Alpi.

    Harden wouldn't have done that.

I missed the game, but just want to comment that FVV just had the most Harden-esque statline possible. Maybe not enough assists, but then again seeing the shooting percentage of all other players, that makes sense.

Both played surprisingly well....Harden turned back the time and Fred has come around.

So no hard feelings, give flowers to both!

I love harden, you are preaching to the choir here. This season when jokic is on the court, denver has a plus 11.6 which is better than any team in the league and around a 65-70 win pace. When he’s off the court they’re a negative 14.3, which is what the 2-16 wizards are. I think if Jokic missed this season denver probably goes 25-57 or so

Clippers have no business being as good as they are right now

1 of the hardest schedules in the league so far and no Kawhi

they give dudes like KPJ and Mo Bamba minutes

Harden is still that guy when it comes to elevating a team

Jokic and Harden are my 2 favorite non-Rocket players. Both are super stars and have changed the modern NBA.

The NBA stole Harden multiple MVP’s and Titles in favor of propelling Curry and silicone valley money. Still a travesty that it was always a cooperative effort by Curry and the refs vs. Harden’s Rockets.

Once again being the indisputable star, Harden proves he is still an Elite player. He’s not Robin, because he’s always been the Batman - the antihero of the NBA.

Harden is still a G. I don't think he would've fit great with the current Rockets roster tbh, but he's still an all-star calibre player when he's firing on all cylinders.

Still happy we went with FVV, but Harden deserves so much props for what the Clippers are doing. That's a 22-win team without him no matter how good the defense. At 35 years old he's basically adding 20 wins to a team. Crazy.

I'm totally opposite of you. I loved iverson as a kid but he would not be good in this Era. He was way too inefficient as a scorer. Same with Kobe. Shooting a bunch of shots at 44% isn't a recipe for winning anymore. Kobe really only won playing with the 2 of the most efficient big men ever to help offset how bad he actually shot the ball. They played in a perfect era for them when games were more low scoring so it didn't matter as much.

Just cuz of play style I think the wizards could beat Jordan's bulls. It's not better basketball by launching all the threes but it works. Jordan's team scored 80 points a game.. even if they picked up their pace they sheer volume of threes would blow them out.

The Jokic thing is crazy. He's the best basketball player in the nba. Probably already a top 5 all time player. Gets no respect cuz he plays with scrubs. I get you watch him it's unconventional and Hakeem and shaq look better in eye test but it's just not true. The most efficient player in nba history and never played with another all star. Dude should really be in the goat conversation if he could get a team.. he's leading currently the greatest offense in nba history when he plays and when he sits his team is the worst offense in nba history.. think about that...
