Sucks if true from a fan's perspective. Sengun is naturally a very creative passer and that's really fun to watch. But at the same time I get it - flashy passes are way less efficient and often lead to turnovers and fast breaks. Jokič has also become way less flashy in recent years.

I agree. They should take the chains off and turn him loose.

Kid is on the precipice of becoming an All NBA Center.

Now I just wonder where his ceiling ends up.

I would go all in on moving Jalen Green and Picks for a all star level guard.

I'm afraid those picks would have to be included as a sweetener just to move Jalen Green, not to get an all-star guard in return.

Yep, Stone screwed up big time extending Jalen prior to him proving he deserved it with a player option in the final year too.

Lol no point other than to jog your memory ....the rebuild has been 3 years much shorter than of anyone I can remember.....

And to say there is nobody on that MVP list....well Harden was the regular season MVP himself...not that long ago.

I am not a Harden fan but he is not even out of the league to say what you said.

In your defense, I better treat it as a typo.

Have other Rockets Influencers weighed in on Alpi's defensive improvement yet? Particularly the ones who thought it would never be possible.

If you want to see the video clip this tweet quotes, you will need to click on the tweet...I think. Or maybe not.

I love seeing the Alpi/Reed connection. It was super brief, but I am absolutely convinced that

    Reed
    Amen
    Dillon
    Tari
    Alpi

    will be our future.

Still love FVV. I am talking in 2-3 years from now. They will all be in their prime, or entering it.

We will definitely see "MVP - 4" next to Sengun's name on Basketball Reference if we stay at this pace with minimal set back.

As to the chicken or egg on advanced metrics, Obviously the success is due to Ime's system. But it's because of Sengun that he can carry out his vision. Adams is still getting used to having to cover a match up out on 3 pt line first, then drift to the paint or disrupt the PnR.
Not everyone can do it. There are only 3 1/2 teams that ask that from their center: Boston/ Milly-wauh-kay/ Houston/ OKC whenever Chet plays.
Jabari is also benefitting from it lately.

I like that you can hear a coach from the Houston bench yell really loud the code word for when to evacuate the three point line and drift to the paint.
    Code word: "Alpi!!!"

Pretty sure we have been playing Senhub the last 5-6 games.

    The success speaks for itself.

Crazy how low Jokic's odds are considering how much better he is than anyone else, i'm guessing it's because he had a kid and missed 3 games?

Voter fatigue and Nuggets aren't very good at all. Sad to see that hands down the greatest player on earth is stuck playing on a trash team and will never get another star to play with.

Jokic should be in the GOAT conversation when he's done but he will never win enough cus Denver can't build a competent team around him. I saw how this year they are the greatest offense in nba history this year with him on the court and the worst offense in nba history when he's on the bench. It unheard of,

Ya i think he’s already easily top 10 all time and could get to top 5 pretty soon. Basketball reference doesn’t care about voter fatigue though, I’m curious why his odds are so low on there. I know there’s a good chance he will get robbed in real life though this season.
