Please describe, in as much detail as possible, how this team is not currently exploding. What 15-6? 2nd, half game back from the #1 team in the west that we just beat?

You sound more like you're addicted to complaining. Sengun was out there getting tomahawked and still almost ****ed around with a triple double. Jalen just dropped 41 in our last huge win.

Seriously, one salient damned point about how this team isn't blowing up. Give it to me. I want it more than you want this team to fail.

 

Just listened to the Alpi interview...noticed he says "you know" a lot like Bari says "you know what I mean"

Shai's game is be-bop jazz in a world of hip-hop. Steph Curry has some of this, too. The ability to warp the defensive coverage is powerful medicine.

 

That's exactly what I'm feeling. A team without a superstar go to guy where everyone contributes on both ends. They just keep coming at you, even when their shot is off.

 

Damn good game. This team keeps growing.

Ime has a great pulse on this team and everyone seems to have bought in. Roles are pretty nailed down, rotations are what make the most sense as the game goes on. I’m loving it.

 

Still don't like dudes with hyphens.

 

I was hoping Jalen would be that dynamic scorer on a , finally, complete team... Big fan but damn it ain't looking good.. I'll give it another year , maybe less, before I commit to the cult and want him gone ..

 

Just me...but, I can't understand why people don't understand that players are going to have good nights and not so good nights. I mean I'm talking about every player. And yes, I was thinking that Jalen had 41 pts. in our last win. We can be a helluva force if others step up when someone is having a subpar night. It is going to happen to every player we have.

 

Both featured great coaches…squeezing a whole lotta juice outta that lemon

 

lol there is no bad bone in either Sengun or Jalen...can you imagine Laimbeer gets hit in the face and not return the favor?

This. Lol. We can’t be the bad boy pistons because most of our guys seem like actually good dudes. Which is also good but yea, sometimes hard to watch as I get pissed off thinking can’t someone push back and retaliate lol.

But probably for the best.

 

This team is so much fun. I have been watching the rockets since 92. The team looks so happy. The young guys are playing great basketball. I enjoy this team more than the team from the Harden era. I know I should leave his name out as he is no longer a Rocket but it seems like everyone is willing to pass or make a play to win. It’s also nice to draft our own guys. I hope they can keep the young core like the Astros and keep winning for years to come.

I also remember people freaking out because Isiah Thomas and Magic Johnson gave each other a kiss on the cheek before Game 1 of the 89 Finals.

 

This team is for real, no doubt. It is such a long season. Bad things can happen, but good things can happen. I will be surprised if they don't make the playoffs, but it still so early. They play really well together. Eason and Thompson are a load to deal with. The Rockets can hurt you in so many ways. Their defense is really impressive.

 

I didn’t mean a player by player comparison. I see similarities in focus on defense, massive impact off the bench, offensive rebounding, and no consistent volume scorer.
