Why does he look so bad in the redzone this year?

 

With Slowik's offense we might as well just pull out Tank and Metchie and throw in two more big blockers if they are only going to throw to Collins, Mixon and Schultz most of the time.

 

Looks like Jags were running 2 deep safeties on those red zone attempts - not absolving the team and Bobby of any blame but like how kickers are getting better at kicking 50+ yard FGs, I think NFL secondaries are getting better at coverage too, especially when running schemes like Cover 2 in short field obvious passing situations.

 

I get that. I can’t put my head into his head as to the timing of it. Certainly looks like he could have not hit him and instead went for it and that’s pretty dirty. It also looks like he hit his chest and not his head. His head hit the ground which is where the damage came. Still think the announcer was little overboard.

 

I don’t think we throw into the endzone in the redzone nearly as much as we did last year. No idea if that’s on CJ, receivers or Slowik
