I can't ever remember a Texans team that made it look so impossible to throw a touchdown when we get inside the 30. Field goals are us.
Tinsel blocks like he's got germaphobia or something. He's scared sh**less that someone will touch him.
maybe before the season because everyone was glazing the hell out of bobby slowik as an OC. we knew better though. Cj last year got Bobby Head coaching looks.
The 2000 ravens with Dilfer as their QB went like 3 or 4 games in a row without scoring a TD and still won a Super Bowl…just an insanely generational defense.
How do the other NFL teams move the ball so easily? It's a slog with us but when I watch other teams they move it effortlessly compared to us.
This is the only silver lining I can discern. Confirming this immediately in year 2 (presuming no bye week implementations of entirely new playbooks). No way they can make an off-season move going into this year Herbert a prime example of a QB that continues to evolve despite disruption in coaching staffs.
There were seasons where I simply didn't care much, but I feel unhappy with this team literally every game. It truly does suck. Good enough to keep interest combined with perpetual disappointment.
Fans that continue to gospel-ize whatever any coach says to the media need to stop. Ryans saying “it’s the defense” doesn’t mean he’s oblivious to the offensive stuff. Slowick saying they’re “better” means nothing.
Please don't show Daryl Johnston again. It makes me think of the relentless forward march of time. I remember when he played and now he looks like Pat Summerall.
