This was a weird ass game, but seeing how awful OKC played against a depleted Warriors team and couldn’t get anything going the last few minutes made me feel better about or late game struggles. A typical schedule loss was in the making for this one, especially after OT last game so going into OT again and winning is what I’ll take, no matter how ugly or whatever. Glad Jalen got out of his funk, Amen and Tari were themselves, Adams set some solid ass screens, Jabari was solid again, Sengun had his moments as well as FVV. The only guy that really almost blew it was Brooks. He tried to get out of his funk today by forcing shots and that was not what we needed. But it’s all good in the end. 2nd place baby!!

Amen is our savior. DB9's 0-fer would've meant a loss last year, but Amen comes in and cleans DB9's-- heck, everyone's!-- **** up. I am thankful for Amen this year. Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all!

Proud of our boys. It would have been very easy for them to let the win slip away in either of these last two wins. They fought all the way through overtime. And man, Amen Thompson is an absolute monster. I really think he's going to be a superstar. His corner three is already starting to fall.

The eternally underrated Alvan Adams! They couldn't find a single better photo of him...?

On paper, I had this pegged as a classic letdown or trap game- facing a team with a poor record and 3/5 starters out, less than 24hrs turnaround for a b2b after grinding out an OT win in the first game. Glad to see them pull this out.

I’ve seen so many comebacks. You can't take any game for granted in today NBA. Talent seems more evenly spread than before, and every team has players who can catch fire, or go cold. Even the best teams will occasionally lose to the worst. Every team is capable of going on a run. The top teams handle it better with quicker bounce back.

No he didn’t. Tilman did it for Tilman. Harden wanted to add Westbrook to him and Paul and make a big three. Tilman denied that.

Harden wanted to retain MDA. Tilman denied that.

Tilman called Paul’s contract the worst in the history of sports.

    stop with the revisionist history.

Jalen has copped some flack on this board, but he defended well in overtime. I loved his comment in his after the game interview that he said he got some rest in the previous game. So I am glad he decided to come out ready, cause it would of been an ugly game otherwise.

Morey tried to keep Paul to make the Westbrook trade work but that wasn't realistic. CP3's salary was needed to make the trade work. Morey was the President of Basketball Operations, not some random front office pawn. He definitely faced pressure from Tilman but let's stop pretending he was powerless in this situation. He still had to put together the framework for the deal. He was notorious for pulling off blockbuster deals to feed his ego. If Morey was still our GM, 5 of the young core 7 would've been shipped off by now for 36yo KD or 35yo Jimmy Butler.

You are the one making a revisionist history. Big 3 of 3 short guys all making the max? So 90% of the cap just on 3 dudes? How is a trade like that even possible? We trade everyone else on the team and have just 3 guys and vet mins? You realize WB had a supermax salary right? Why dont you make a trade scenario how that would even work before you post BS? Cp3 said he doesnt expect Harden to be at his kid's bday party yet you think Harden wanted Cp3 on the team???? Get real. Who is the one who said Harden wanted a big 3? Wasnt that Morey who is proven to be a major liar? Didnt he lie to Cp3 also told him he wouldnt be traded and then traded his ass? Told Harden he would make the max and then reneged on his promise? That's your source? Get real.

MDA coached WB and Harden and they all failed. What does MDA not being retained have anything to do with the Cp3/WB trade or my statement Tilman did the WB trade for Harden? LOL who is the one making the revisionist statement?

Paul contract was garbage we traded for him when we could have signed him in the offseason. We paid him the max and he played like a total scrub. In fact CPO has done nothing but choke and disappoint his entire career. He had that one good year when he went vegan after everyone roasted him and became a scrub year again after that. PHX Suns were so fed up with him they traded him for Bradley Beal when they clearly needed a pg. Dude is nothing but a mercenary, imagine going to Spurs to get paid 10M vs trying to win a ring with the Nuggets? Cant even let go of 10M after making over 200M in career earnings? Dude only cares about money no wonder he never won a ring.

Tilman did it for Tilman is such a dumb statement. Both WB and Cp3 cost the same so whats in it for him? He isnt saving any money. Right or wrong that WB move was done to help extend Harden's window and make the team better. Thats something Fertita has always done.
